All I knew at first was my Dad was a cabinet maker but when I got into his side of the family tree I have found them way way back

I don't know where I get this hobby/obsession from, in fact I think I may have started it but alas no one to pass it on to.

I love woodwork and fiddling about with miniatures ,it's in the blood. I come from a long line of carpenters and cabinet makers.

I couldn't do that, no patience if it doesn't go right and not the dexterity any more.

I do it on my own and no the tiles are in sheet form, My next fiddly job will be making individual floor boards :-0

On your own or did hubby help? I'm thinking you have single tiles rather than a sheet of what looks like single tiles?

Where is everybody? Are you all hiding, did I say something that upset you all? LOL.

Most of the washing has line dried but there are still a few bits out that felt a little damp.

Hubby has trouble buying size 12 shoes and boots.

I have put some washing on and will put it the clothes horse later.

I had awful trouble finding him scouts trousers and walking boots because at that age he was 6' with size 13 feet :-0.

I have just been outside and put some more plants in the front garden. That is done now so I have got to get on out the back. I did put some lettuce plants in but that is all so far.

6' 5"? that's not tall, he is a giant lol. One MDP I worked with when I was security officer was/is 6' 9" and we both had the same problem finding uniform trousers that fit.

I am vertically challenged too :-D, I leave high stuff until Our son comes round if I can as he is 6' 5" and reaches things easily.

He has his good days and does most of his jobs in the morning while he is able, I just potter all day doing what I can and needing more help reaching stuff, because I am vertically challenged at 5', I was 5' 3 a few years ago.

I am ok thanks, I have done all the washing and then popped out for a piece of wood trim at the DIY store. I cooked a Lasagne for lunch which we have just eaten, and I cooked a fruit cake at the same time so as not to waste gas. We have just done the dishes and cleared away so time to just go with the flow.
I still have some plants to put in so I might go out and get them done when I have digested :-D.

I'm doing as little as possible for as long as possible again.
