I like watching them too, but nothing here.

We had a very few spots,2 rumbles of thunder and that was it. Just had K call in for Father's Day and he was hoping for a good storm because he likes to watch them :-D :-D

No rain yet, however not so breezy so maybe its the calm before the storm. :-D :-D

Afternoon, I got my washing on the line before going out and it is all dry already. No sign of rain yet but I am going to get it in soon just in case :-D

Afternoon everyone, we are supposed to have heavy rain and thunderstorms, nothing yet so I put some bedding out to dry.

Morning all, we had a heavy shower of rain in the early hours but the poor garden could do with a lot more.
OH's family are all together in the same churchyard so it takes quite a while to see to them all :-D

Fathers day comes round quick ,my dad passed away in 1993 just after I came back to the UK .They are all together in Sussex Mum ,dad and my brother .
its very muggy here not slept that well so hoping that the promised rain will freshen things up

Very sensible I am the same I spent a lot of time and money learning to drive and would be stuck if I couldn't drive anywhere.

I doubt it :-D. Coffee is more their thing and also K will have to drive home and even after just one drink he won't use the car

Good I hope he enjoys his day, will they be going for a beer or having a beer in the garden?

Well I couldn't expect less from her :-| :-| :-|. Never mind he is here in my mind and heart so that is all that really matters.
I expect K will come to see OH tomorrow,he usually does not forget :-D

It is beyond my understanding why people are like that but I am glad you have a dedicated spot for him. <3

My dad was cremated but he is in North London and a bit of a way to travel. I do go down occasionally but thanks to my so called mother his plaque has gone and the plot where his ashes were buried has been reused for someone else. Hence I have a little plaque to him here in my garden along with other memory bits for BIL,MIL and FIL. It is a lovely quiet little corner and very peaceful to sit by.

My Father in law doesn't have a grave, he was cremated and his ashes scattered in Wales. My Mum and Dad are in the same grave not far from here but I don't want to go because I have been told there has been vandalism there and I don't want to see the grave like that.

OH has had one card so far from his oldest. Both our Dad's have passed but we take flowers to OH's Dad's grave. I have a few at home in memory of my Dad which I put outside in the little memory garden we have.

Both our Dads have passed away so it is just our thoughts of them and our son hasn't sent a card so that will be that for us tomorrow.

I won't be watching them if we do get any. We will have to get out early to the churchyard tomorrow as we are forecast storms late morning and being Father's Day we have flowers to take.
I have been upstairs painting some more of my dolls house while OH has been watching the F1 qualifying :-D

We are supposed to be haveing rain and thunderstorms all day tomorrow, if we do I shall be watching it, when I'm not doing the H word of course because the H word comes first. :-D ;-)
