Hi Hollzy. Glad you popped in. Aunty sometimes feels she is a complete alien and would apprectiate any support going lol.

Didn't realise how tired and unaccustomed to work work I was. Have just awoken from a refreshing snooze in the armchair lol. That's put paid to any idea of gardening. Rubbish temperatures for the time of year anyway. I think I've worn a Tshirt about 7 days since 'Summer' started, and that was during our heat waves. :( Don't know why I bothered getting the summer weight clothes out of the loft.

Hi everyone. Hello Hollzy!

DET, it is cold here too with a very strong wind and I have actually succumbed to putting the heating on for a while!

Tomorrow is supposed to be better, so may catch up with some gardening then.

Hello all, I'd almost forgotten how to add to a thread, it's been so long! I've got a lot of catching up to do - sorry I've been so sad and busy since my Dad died.

might need to disappear for a sob for a while - it's the first time apart from pm's I've typed that.

Grandaughter is beautiful and well, into everything as they all are at 9 months old! xxx

Welcome back, CrystalTips. We are honoured that you have chosen this thread to return to the boards. Grieving takes time, but your Dad will always live on in your memory and heart. Babies are always a comfort at times like this~ make the most of your granddaughter while she is still cuddleable.

Shhhh! Don't say that RMS!!! Homeland Security will be starting a file on you - lol

Supposed to be getting warmer next week. I might even put the effort and an iron the packing creases out of the summer clothes.!!!

Morning all. Has Aunty got stuck to the gloss paint again, do you think, or has she collapsed with excitment at the weekly Ozzie Rules footie match - lol

Glad you had a good day out Maz. Not sure what we will do, although I may 'suggest' that OH cuts the back lawn. LG, take the advice and don't over do things again.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 20 Jun 2010 23:25

Glad you were able to get outside today YG. You should sleep well. OH was 'persuaded' to cut the back grass, whilst bemoaning the lack of growth of the seeded patches!

Oh dear. You are now all asleep. I am at work. I painted from 9 am to 4.30 pm yesterday. Graduated from the brush to the roller and a different colour. Also spent some time with a hammer and chisel demolishing the interior of a built in robe.

And then I left my glasses at daughter's place and had to wait for her to ferry them over to me this morning. So no computing last night.

Soccer. Let me see. The song of the moment is "I'm NOT just wild about Harry" but then we are not wild about the refereeing decisions either.

Our newspapers are telling us that England is facing their worst result in the Cup since 1958.

No footy for my team this weekend we have what is called a split round. Half the competitiion plays this weekend and the other half plays next weekend.

Greetings to all the returning Nutters. Warm thoughts to you all for your trials and tribulations.
