Yes Hayley, bread dipped in egg then fried.

OH does fried slice in oil, not dripping,but he'd do chips in dripping if I let him.

McAnne speaks normally too TW......like us........it's the rest of them that have accents......not us :0)

***so does Rosie.........she lives closer to where I was brought up than anyone on here....xx

Muffy dont sound as hard as you... nope there is a differance even I can tell.. I work with an asian guy who has an accent but some words sound really northern like Loverley and Aryley it does make me chuckle...

abit ....but I have notice even with Anitahh that you southern birds all have a high pitch voice you scream abit when you talk....now Stray and Joy have deep voices..

TW is Essex mainly and I'm from outer London....but it's not a huge difference ......I'm called a Cambridgeshire Cockney up here and I'm nowhere near cockney LOL xx

I haven't got an accent at all.... no, not me... I'm greedy.... I have picked up bits from everywhere, mah duhck....... lol

I am very posh and cultured, speak softly, and am generally very quiet.

I'm not a cockney, even my east end family aint cockney, not true cockney.

I'm nowhere close to Cockney either TW.

Dads lot were from West London......and Saaaaaaaaaarf London

And Mums lot were from Notting *ill West London LOL.

Lol Muffy... I must have been on my very best and poshest behaviour, lol... or sober!! I can get very very loud, so I am told, lolol!! ;¬)) But my feet and shoulder were hurting when I went to Peterborough lol..... I was quiet cos I was in pain....... ;¬))

To be honest, we have been surrounded by various accents most of our adult life... me and OH... so we didn't really notice accents, as we are so used to a variety all in one go, so to speak...

Did a spelling test for employment in a government office once. Scored 98 out of 100 and they put two big exclamation marks on the page. I was so cheesed off I never scored the perfect 100.

The words I couldn't spell. Embarrassment, and diarrhoea. Fair gives me the s**** everytime I think about it and I still have to be careful with those words.
