Hope today goes well for you and Eddie, Mummo.

Take care of yourself too. It has been a long road to get Eddie as well as he is. I am sorry he still has so much pain.

Enjoy your new home, no more stairs.

HI, we have settled into our flat really well,
Eddie is now having hydro therapy, he had one the week before last but last weeks we had to cancel as l had a message from my brother to say he didn't think my poor mum was going to make it through the next 24 hours so had to drop everything and go to Portishead ( near Bristol) to see her, she is still with us, thank God, but is really not well.
Our life has certainly changed but am grateful Ed came through the accident and he really is so much better than he was.
Still trying to sort out all the benefits he is entitled to..........everything takes so long.
Eddies O.T is trying to get him into a community scheme to do some gardening / growing veg in raised beds as Eddie does like gardening and doesn't want to just sit indoors day after day , so that is something for him to look forward to.
Thanks again to you all, xx

That sounds some positive thinking. Give him something to do other than sit in a wheel chair and do nothing all day. I had a twelve months in a wheelchair before my bypass surgery and it was so boring. Because of the heart problem i was not allowed a self-propelled wheelchair, and had to wait to move for someone to be free to doit.
