Hi all, well Ed has had the drain taken out of his lung today as it has inflated its self now, so that made him feel a bit better, hasn't really eaten much, he had a cup of tea while l was there and promptly brought it back up, poor nurses didn't know what to do as they can't sit him up so sick tray was pretty useless and time one of them went to get a bag it was all over the bed, poor Ed its so painful when they have to change sheets or roll him every few hours as the breaks in his back have to keep still but must be done to prevent bed sores. |

I am glad that your daughter is coming to keep you company as well as to see her Dad. I think you said he was on Morphine, that will be what is making his mind a bit funny, but it will also be helping the pain. |

Mummo, I got distracted last night and forgot to post a message wishing Eddie all the very best, glad to see that he is feeling better today. Just make sure that you take care of yourself so that when Eddie gets out of hospital you will have the strength to help his recovery. |

You will be so pleased to see your daughter but don't try to put on a brave face, let things out and it will help you feel better afterwards. I am sure she will give you a bit of tlc while she is home and it will give her Dad a boost to see her. |

Morning Mummo, you can catch up on your sleep once your daughter arrives. It will be a great relief for you and she can shoulder a little of the burden. Hoping there is a big improvement in Ed when you see him today. BCXX |
