You're never going to persuade the real racistswho vote BNP on the race issues........show them where it's going to hurt........their pockets.

Uggers

Uggers Report 22 Oct 2009 23:16

I bet they haven't got a policy either, Muffy:) For me, this programme is a chance to examine how the BNP have managed to gain popularity by examining what they stand for so I'm really happy that it concentrates on them like this. And he comes across just as badly as I expected him to. I'm quite impressed with the other panelists tonight in the sense that there's a unity againts what the BNP stand for.

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 22 Oct 2009 23:15

I'd pull him up on other policies....I really would......He'd crumble more than he is already xx

Good point, Muffy.
Strangely, whilst stod at the bus stop this evening , the bus driver who was once high up in the BNP ( explosion proof front door as well) scurried past me.
I didn't have the chance to say 'shalom' to him - I expect he was in a hurry to get home, have his curry, put on his jack boots decry the asian input into Britain and watch his hero!!

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 22 Oct 2009 23:09

I'd like to know what the BNP are proposing to do IF (and believe me I hope to god it's an IF) they made power with regards the current economic crisis......in the same way I'd like to know about UKIP, The Green Party and any other fringe party that appears on Question Time. It's the one subject that counts at the mo....over and above every other as peoples livelihoods are at risk here and THAT will be the vote clincher in the long run.

MY bet is that the BNP haven't even GOT a policy to answer it with......nor would they have for many other issues other than race. ... so CHALLENGE THE MAN ON IT fgs.

I personally think politicians want to think about WHY people are voting BNP in the first place and LISTEN to what they're told and act on it........rather than make this purely a race issue...

Muffy ,no I doubt that will happen .I had family living in Lockerbie that terrible night. As they say ,that could be another show lol

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 22 Oct 2009 23:04

The Lib Dem and the Tory are next to useless as well imho xx

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 22 Oct 2009 23:02

I would like Jack Bloody Straw to be asked some questions about the release of the Libya bomber .......... I find THAT repulsive as do many others.... but I doubt that'll happen.

Nick Griffin is making a p*** of himself and that's a result.........

But i'd like other parties to be held to account on THEIR lines too. xx
