Silly Sausage Report 23 Oct 2009 08:25

There is something about Nick Griffin that I could punch his face in, not just for what he so proudly respersents and he is so proud too, he just looks unfriendly and is something which I cant just put my finger on that I find alarming about him.

I thought Bonnie Greer was great, too! Griffin was made a fool of but maybe not enough for me ! He was clapped by a few when he talked about immigration control and muslim idealogy - what was that all about???

I think Nick Griffen thought he'd be a wolf in sheeps clothing.......Only to find he'd been thrown to the lions. pmsl

Tonights program, just showed to everyone what a racist tw*t he & his party is.

Well done to the BBC for standing by the rules & broadcasting tonights program.
It was the 1m voters fault that Griffen was allowed to spout his nonsense.
The protesters should have been blaming them, not the BBC.

Maybe in future when people are disaffected by politics.....Dont vote for extremist you stupid people.

Anything quoted at him - eg about the holocaust he admitted saying in the past - but had now (miraculously) changed his mind!!

Bleedy hell - I wish I could live my life saying 'Yes I said that - but now I take it back' - but unfortunately the council tax, bank , benefits agency, my ex etc don't believe me!!!!

Well it all turned out so much better than I hoped. Griffin made a fool of himself, and Bonnie Greer was as wonderful as ever - Thank you Auntie:))

I think though for anyone with an ounce of sense he was exposed for what he is. There are still a lot of people without an ounce of sense however ...

Unbelievably there are people on another site saying he was "bullied" I despair of the intelligence of some people I have to say. The man could not come up with a coherent answer on anything and yet there are still apologists for him out there. I don't know why I am surprised, but I still am lol.

Hmmmm... I don't know what I was expecting but I thought it was quite 'tame' - I only swore at the Tv a few times - (that's less than usual).
Having said that I think Nick Griiffin's previous quotes about the holocaust etc were well highlighted by the panel especially Bonnie, David Dimbleby and Jack Straw.

But am worried that he didn't come off as badly as I expected :o((

I started his tree a while ago - but I'm not on ancestry - his father was a fascist, as were his mother's family.
Not a good start for a young lad!!

Me too Jane - pure delight:))))

I'm glad Lenny Henry wasn't on in the end because I think the others did a pretty good job.

Great programme, it even made Jack Straw look good. It gives one hope for the future when the BNP can be ridiculed and reviled by the public. BC XX

This is the first ever opportunity for many people to ask certain questions Muffy, and there were topics concerning BNP policies that needed to be covered, and only in one hour.

The economy is covered to death every week TBH, and the biggest concern is our national debt, and how that is going to be reduced (apart from flogging the Dartford Crossing that is), and it was a refreshing change to be able to have a question time that isn't about the economy or banks or MP's expenses.

I reckon he shot himself in the foot with that comment about the BBC he made at the end, too - bet it's a while before they let him back on TV again.

Blimey, where did that hour go?

I really enjoyed that, and I'm glad he got the opportunity to be made a prat of....did he really expect anything else?

I thought David Dimbleby did a good job of keeping it all under control too.
