Easter Bunny Report 11 Mar 2011 13:56

hope Gizmo has turned up by now. It's always a worry that they have been shut in somewhere. My friend has been feeding a little stray that has a limp but she can't get it to come to her to try and find out why.

Hi~~~

Just got closed down on this site.
Hope it's not going to do it again!

Yes , thanks Maz, everything went as well as could be expected at the funeral.
Very emotional, but hubby's cousin is on antidepressants and I suspect she'd been given something 'extra' for yesterday to cope with her parents double burial.

I should have gone to a funeral today.. an ex colleagues husband, retired on the Friday and died, aged 64 on Monday, I couldn't face it after yesterday.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gizmo has a 'second home' Maz.
Does he have a collar with a tel No. on it..?
Peeps will feed cat's if they 'stray' into their gardens, hope he's back home soon:)

Only just signed on.

BIL and niece came down last night for hubby's Aunt and Uncle's funeral.
Both hubby and his brother were bearers.
Been a long day......., BIL just phoned to say they got home safely .
It's about a 4 hour drive.

Hi~~

Clear blue skies again, but minus 2 at 9am this morning.
Still cold now tho.

Maz ..think of putting up posters on telegraph poles in the area that Gizmo normally follows you, my friend and neighbour Sue is a cat lover, they had a 'well fed stray' cat that began to try to move in ( Sue has 2 of her own )
Sue didn't take him in, cos she knew that someone would be looking for him.
So she put up posters locally so that someone would know where he was 'hiding out'. It worked OK in the end. Hope the little minx is home soon.

*$parkling $andie* Report 6 Mar 2011 15:07

Afternoon girls~~

A bit nippy here but sunny. so about to take the first load of washing in to air.
I keep turning the clothes, cos it's warm in the direct sunlight, my line is in full sun at the mo.

Maz we always had dogs, which weren't neutered, the dog I had when I was 10 (mine) used to scale a 10ft wall to get out if a bitch was on heat.
I have a very shrill whistle ( very unladylike ,using 2 or 4 fingers ) and I could usually get him back by that, Couldn't find him one day, he'd done his escape route down the wall, I was 16 could drive my sisters Honda 90 bike dad had bought her for her 21st, so went out looking for him on it.
I found him almost 2 miles away near to our local church ( he would have come home eventually) but I 'carried 'him home on my lap on the bike.

Perhaps Gizmo is out after a lady friend, hope he'll be home soon:)

*$parkling $andie* Report 5 Mar 2011 15:20

Hi all~~

Another clear day, very frosty first thing, but got some washing out..Maz ,perhaps someone is feeding Gizmo, thinking he's a stray.

We had a border collie once landed on our doorstep, she was beautiful and friendly, it was snowing and I wanted to feed her and take her in, but my dad refused, cos he said 'she may not go home if we do'. He put posters up locally, with our address (weren't on the phone at the time) she went home and we had a note tho the door from the owners, thanking us for doing so.

Gizmo may think he has 2 homes if someone is feeding him, have you tried local posters..? Worth a try:)

Hi~~

Very cold morning, minus 2, deceptive blue skies, still sunny this afternoon but I still have my fleece on indoors, can feel that the radiators have been on.

Son has been exercising on his weights bench and walking around in just shorts saying that it is warm:) I'd rather do outside power walking, tones the legs ....anything below the waist, doesn't do much for the 'Bingo wings' unless I carry shopping at the same time.

Hope Gizmo returns soon ,Maz. I notice you said on another thread he follows you to work ( ?) When I was in junior school, very close to home ,one cat we had always followed me to the school doors, and quite often had to be shooed away by teachers.
