Hi all ~~

It was beautiful and sunny at 6.30 am so I put out the towels I'd washed last night, then put on another a wash of shirts trousers and lighter things.
Managed to dry the towels and most of the others, before it started to hammer down with rain..it still is :-(

Hope Ava is better Paula, horrid to see the little ones poorly.

Hi all~~

Got drenched earlier , but it 's finer now.

Still trying to get a decent quote on the drops kerbs at the front.
Chap from council not available til after 4pm .I wanted to speak to him cos his list of approve contractors, either no longer exist or don't reply to the messages left on their mobiles.
I feel a spat coming on.. it's been 3 weeks now trying get in contact with 'their' approved contractors.

did a little washing and because it's windy it should be dry. I have got Ava with me today because she is full of cold and has a sore throat so it was thought best not to send her to nursery.Think we will have soup for lunch, even with a sore throat she should be able to manage that ok.

Quite a mixture of weather today
We've had some heavy showers, sunshine , fine skies but now it's all grey again.

Hi all~~

Cue for a song... 'Its raining again'
With this new paving we haven't got the huge puddles at the front of back of the house we used to get when we had heavy rain :-)

Lol
Paula.. eau de wet pooch ( however clean they are ) isn't the best :-)

We've had 2 short electric power cuts today ...again.
Peeps house alarms go wild, my PC kept going on and off and clocks went to standby.
All son's equipment was OK , it was all off.. and my clock on the the cooker was OK.
Must tell dau to check hers otherwise she'll be late for work ....again !

mixed day weather wise. Got soaked this morning when walking the dogs because it had come down heavy through the night and the long grass was drenched. Managed to get washing dry but got wet again on lunch time walk. It faired up untill quarter past three when I picked Cara up from school and the heavens opened again.Took dogs out a while ago and it was that fine rain, I swear it waits for me to step outside .
Eau de wet dog is not too pleasant either, although I must say the rain does freshen everything up and cools the place down. :-)

Hi~~

Grey and overcast here, it was raining heavily earlier.
Phoned hubby for him to get some rolls for tomorrows lunch boxes.. he said he wasn't going out as it was pouring with rain there, but would pick some up from As*a on the way home .
Save me getting drenched in walking the 3 miles just for rolls.lol

hello, lovely day here again.
T he gardener has cut the hedges at church, very long run of mixed bushes some of which are spiky with long thorns, don't know what they are called.
He scratched all his chest and arms and gave up half way through. Reckons he will do some more another time.
Maz, my friends, Gordon and Dorothy Stoves are starting their summer missions again this week. First at Pity me, then at Esh winning and the last one at Wolsingham. Keep the work in your prayers xx

Hi ~~~

It was pleasant earlier on but has clouded over bit now.
Hope son is going to cut other conifer hedge later.
Hubby took all the clippings to the recycling centre this morning, they were in heavy duty bags we wanted to keep.
I will book the Councils Green recycling for the branches he cut down, but they are just tied up with string, quite a lot..and why mess the car up when the collection service is free.

Hi~~

Hedges have been trimmed today, son has been giving it a go with the electric shears.
He's tall and fit as he works out most days, but found cutting the hedges a bit different from his work outs.lol
Still.. he did all the Laurel (whole length of the back garden) and the one conifer at the bottom.
I can't cut the conifer it brings me out in a rash. The hedge has a fungus and I would rather have it cut out, now he's clipped it it looks all brown. The one the other side is OK.
We have 2 conifer hedges at the bottom of the garden with and archway between. Hubby cut down a large shrub too.. I wasn't too pleased !
Will have to contact the council now for them to collect them.
They do a free 'Green' collection of garden cuttings , but you have to book it in advance.
