Gentle weight loss is good Paula. I have been twice to Slimming World. It's been a while since I've been , so don't know about 'easy extra' . I found it a good programme overall tho.
Oh ! nasty about your sandals.
Yes, Maisie is beautiful, but is a nutter pup . Her owner Karl is divorced , living back with mum, he has his dau to stay many days in the school holidays, she will walk Maisie too, but has no clue on controlling / training her.

Slimming world went ok.I have lost 3lbs, although it is difficult as I am supposed to include some carbs at every meal due to diabetes. If you have been a member in the past you can do red/ green days again if you want but if new you do extra easy for at least a month then you can choose.
I think like everything else I will get into the way of it in time.Not really the weather for long walks I'm afraid.Lots of torrential downpours means my usual routes are very boggy.I took a short cut home from the fatty club last thursday and passed the stables,walked through a puddle which turned out to be horse pee.My sandals stunk so I put them in the washer on Friday.
They came up a treat,smelling fresh so I put them on for church on Sunday.After the service ,I was pottering about putting things away and thought my sandal felt funny and had come open so I sat down to fasten it and discovered that the glue had dissolved and the strap was no longer attatched in between the inner and outer soles :-(
Think some new shoes are in order

Hi folks~~~

Had a few showers today, got caught in one walking neighbours dog.
Karl is poorly, tho he felt well enough to walk Maisie yesterday, his mother phoned NHS Direct this morning , he's now on antibiotics and in bed. His mum is very worried about him, tho she tries not to show it, he has very high blood pressure , tho it does fluctuate ... mostly high to very high for his age , he's only 45 ! He has kidney probs.

My hip and back are still not 100% but exercise and rest, hot and cold applications are the order of the day at the mo . Haven't had the blood results, so will carry on the routine .
I had the dog's walk planned via the woodland park area, so I could sit down on a bench quite frequently. I had to stop her chewing a coke can to pieces , a lip balm, a deodorant aerosol can , and a pile of seeded grasses she'd dug up ... that's just when I was sitting down !
When I took her home, Karl's mum was about to make a bacon sandwich for him, I was about to leave and Maisie jumped up at the kitchen units and grabbed the bacon !............ Start again mum ! ......She's like a flash.!

How did the Slimming World class go Paula..?..... I'm sure they were a nice bunch.. hope you were happy with your results. It's a while since I've been but since I haven't been able to do my daily brisk walking , I need to get into a diet regime , perhaps doing more of the green version.

I thought Gizzmo hadn't been seen Maz but you said recently that he had been. It's strange that they go awol then re appear to neighbours, not wanting to be touched. He's not that old ,is he , perhaps if he was a bit of a wanderer , someone started feeding him and if he smells new cats on his previous territory is reluctant to come home. They are canny independent animals and have more instinct for life than well trained SAS.

Paula enjoy the guinea pigs we only have a rabbit now and two cats thankfully .

Our Stan, if it he the one you call our Stan used to who used to join in some the the A to Z and the 5 word story thread, is I believe the one from Mid Wales,he is now on the Welsh thread and is Researching:-
Dennis ,Measham .Blount , Polesworth-Baddesley. Taylor kent ,
He's started on their in about May his last post was a fortnight ago., He doesn't post regularly


The Stan Clarke that recently tragically died was researching :-
Clarke/Hughes/Sewell Birmingham

I think they are 2 different Stans .
My condolences go out to Stan Clarke's family .

I hope not !....he popped in on the Welsh Thread in My and last posted about a fortnight ago. Well I think this Stan is the one that was on a thread of yours in the past, he lives in mid Wales, but his name is not Clarke I'm sure.

evening all, Slimming world is ok, although I can't get my head around working everything out yet. It's free food, super free food ,healthy extras and syns lol.
To be honest a lot of the recipes I have seen so far are just what I cook anyway.Will try my best anyway.
So sorry to hear about your hip and knee Sandie, hope the enforced rest means it will soon heal. It is hard getting the balance right between rest and not seizing up isn't it? Take care chick xxx
Our Rochelle is away on holiday so I have to go and see to the guinea pigs each day this week.

Sandie the building is all done i am now taking my time sorting all the cupboards and decorating as I go my aim this holiday is to get my room done .The back bedroom is done which was dau is now the guest room /gym that is complete
even the loft is organised as an extra storage space here too
