Hi~~
My PC is not coming on today yet....three attemps so far....ugh.
Hubby will have to look at it tonight soon or I will have to have to a new one.
Also my phone contract runs out,and the bill is on there ,obviiously I can get the bill bill off this laptop (they don't send out paper bills and I need it to redeem the £20 contract ) if he can't get it sorted soon I'll have to do it from this laptop.
GR seems to be playing up..again!
The GR symbol is not appearing the green ring is still spinning !

morning all we have been lucky weatherwise just high winds ,our work looks out on to a large park and gets quite eery when its very windy .
have been dping a lot of long shifts due to a memeber of staff being ill

Edit at 4 pm..Our road is now quite white..only about an inch of snow .. I think, I guess it from putting my index finger into it !!!

I was trying to send a e B'day card to BIL it would go from mine, so had to resort back the laptop.
Fed up with this :-|

I spoke too soon ! PC was OK when I got it started yesterday....but is having none of it today :((((((((
So it has to be this lappy..ugh. It doesn't like me or GR !
It's been snowing..side roads are slippy but main roads OK. Just a dusting really...so far.

Puter OK today, hubby's home later so he will have a look at it cos there is an intermittent fault.
Done all my cards.. well just 2 special ones to go.
Stamps cost more than the cards !
Be careful if you send special ones, they charge more for large , width, weight. size.
Hubby's auntie ( She is just a few yrs older than him)' sent ' a Xmas card to her grandson from Santa', she didn't realize the size and her son had to pay £I.50 to collect it from the sorting office!
Going to stick my stamps on now, hope they pass the test !!
Have to go to PO to send my sister's in US so will get them checked..

Good morning ~~~

Bright and sunny, but nippy..Brrr.
Hubby's gone to N Wales, for the surprise party this evening.
His bro knows he's going up,cos he thinks they are all going out for a meal, we went out for his 50th in a mini bus..so prob about 16 /20 of us.

Complicated..but he now lives with a new lady friend in her house, they are buying another one, which hubby has been helping doing up. BIL still owns ( still has a mortgage) his own house (quite large),which he rents to his dau. His dau was already renting a house in the same village. so when BIL decided to move in with his lady friend it seemed sensible that his dau move back to his house pay him the same rent she was paying before which covers his mortgage. They are all happy with the arrangement.
As the house is quite large Kate, BIL's dau decided to have a surprise party for him there rather than him going out for a meal cos more of his friends would be able to go. His partner and Kate have sussed up some plan to get him into the house, he thinks he's going to pick her up to go for the meal, his partner doesn't drink more than a glass of wine and that the rest of peeps are going on a mini bus. Kate's invited about 50 friends and rellies ( there aren't many rellies now) His son is coming down from London wants to surprise him by jumping out of a box!..He is nuts, he's tall but skinny..going to have to be a big box.
BIL b'day isn't until Wed so they'll go out for a meal then also, but not 50 or so of them .lol

Hope they have a good time.

I clicked earlier but have been too busy to come one on here til now.
BIL 60th birthday on Wed, surprise party for him by his dau tomorrow, so I've been out getting pressies,and wrapping them..
Hubby is going ,but my knee is painful I can't travel more than a few miles ,let alone 4hrs to North Wales.
Then I wrote most of my Xmas cards , but I need to get the 'special ones ' for close family.
Stamps will probably cost more than the cards :-| Other than the special ones.

Oh I managed to change my avatar...I didn't think it had worked.
Doesn't look so good as the original on the Xmas list ... It says 'Merry Christmas from Wales'.. It was quite clear on the one I've saved..may alter it., it doesn't look that Xmasy now. :(((

It is bucketing down here. Managed to escape it this morning when I went to the dreaded hairdressers > Hair a bit tidier now!

Very sunny, but very very windy.. I could hardly walk up our street battling the wind.
Took the opportunity to get 2 loads of washings out, but double pegs on everything, just checked and was surprised the towels are drying cos it's so bitterly cold. Need to check other wise they will end up down the end of our road .!!

The skies were beautifully clear last night about 9pm just the moon and one star... I guessed then we'd have a heavy frost this morning. ! Yep we did.
It's bitter cold here , a few white clouds in the distance but bright sunshine... at the mo.
Hope my garden path has been defrosted by the sun now as , and as usual I have washing to put out. Path is a on a slight slope ! I don't want to slip.!
My neighbours are retired, speaking to the one yesterday , he said I could hear your hubby scrapping the ice from the wind screen, and wondered how cold it was...very !!! the side of the car next to the house was clear.
