Mayhem here again first thing with the road being dug up for the gas pipe replacement.
Van's blocking 6 peoples drives and drilling at about 8am, only 3of the households need their cars for work, one neighbour, visits his elderly mother first thing, another takes his grandson to school, the others are retired and independent but usually go out in the mornings for their shopping. Neighbours directly affected took their cars out early, I think they must have been told yesterday.
Hubby had to ask them to move the van for him to get out as did dau on Mon, she may have to again today !!

Because this thread is in ' My Threads' and I don't often go into Chat, I tend not to know how far down the pages it has dropped. Tho I do try and check ..page 5 ,I think one day last week. Eeekk !

I just go in every day which brings it back up, cos there are always new peeps that don't know about the site and I suspect would happily contribute freely by a mere click.

Good morning, seems to be a nice drying day today so have washed the dogs beds.
Should have been at the coffee morning helping today but didn't feel well so am taking it easy.Hope all are well with you xxx

It seemed cold today, but it was windy so I risked 2 wash loads of towels and bath mats ....and they dried !!!!!!. :-)
I don't have pedestal mats , just rectangular ones.. one in front the unit housing the wash basin and one to step out the shower.
The laminated flooring is mopped daily, and dau thought a pedestal mat around the loo looked outdated with the flooring . I think she's right.
But I wanted 'bathroom mats',so they wouldn't slip on the floor.
So I bought 4 sets of bath and pedestal mats , all the same colour . I can have 2 mats clean and 2 in the wash if necessary. I gave the pedestal mats to Bernardo's (unused, in the wrappers and explained why I didn't want them) .

Well i got all done on my list yesterday ,My grass was so long it was hard work ,I also got all the washing dry and Ironed which is the best thing about this time of the year ,

Have to pickle some beetroot, and am going to put a wash in wash out colour on my hair......( not at the same time ! ) just as well I have a box of disposable plastic gloves, my hands would be multi coloured otherwise!!!!!!

Beautiful day here :-)

Rather chaotic in road at the mo the gas board are replacing pipe work and meters, so there are vans everywhere !
And holes in the road :-( They have just dug outside my neighbours drive, so he can't get his car in. Loads park on the road tho they all have driveways, ....neighbour does it during the day,but always parks in at night , so I just offered him to park on ours..we've plenty of room, now we've had the front garden dug up and paved.
When he went to Oz for his dau's wedding, he offered us the same privilege , cos we only had a straight drive then and son and hubby were constantly having to change cars around depending on who was going out first, dau just to park on the pavement cos she wasn't confident to park on the drive as it was ...Silly mare ! She does reverse park now on the paved area at front.

Dau's bedroom is a loft conversion,... so it is all boarded , but the remaining attic space is obviously considerably smaller than before, tho her room is the biggest bedroom of the 3 ? !??

hi there my two sheds are are rooten and we had really dodgy neighbours so I put the electrical stuff in the loft which has a floor in ,I had it done when dau went to uni as it is a small house and not a lot of storage for her gear

Been a another lovely day here.

All our gardening stuff is in the shed.. lol if we put anything else in the loft the ceiling would come down.

When I say put it in the loft..hubby says no..unless it's very light.

hi I am looking at the grass its nearly dry enough to cut ,However my mower is in the loft so will need some help to get it down lol
