what strange weather lately,it can't seem to make it's mind up. So much rain /sleet yesterday and overnight that fields etc were all flooded this morning.
High winds too, snowed earlier so washing is on the radiators. Just now the sky is blue and the sun is shining but it is still breezy and very cold. Had a cup of hot chocolate and a jacket potato for lunch. :-)

Morning well my wash basket looks like vesuvious so i am going to have to do the washing but it will be all indoors i think

The 'Beast' has probably been taken some where outdoors for consumption.
That's what our black cat used to do...the wicked witch or wizard, I just remember my mother telling me in later yrs what he or she used to do.
'It' used to steal meat from the table, when her back was turned... excellent ratter always bringing home mice and birds ... got farmed out to a local farm cos mum couldn't cope with it, she reckoned it was a witch's cat. The tabby was a gentle creature and used to sleep with our young dog, but the black cat used to attack him for no reason.

That's animal natural instincts for you Maz.
Cats are allowed to get away with prying on bird and mice.
Dogs wouldn't get away with as much they'd be seen as a prob to other species.
When I was young we had 2 cats, the black one wasn't a ferral cat ,but was just nuts. He or she, I don't remember I was so young used to take lumps out of me when I tried to pet it and I was always covered in scratches. The dog ( we had the 3 at the same time ) was as soft as muck and I could do anything with him.
Hope you find the corpse before it begins to smell :-(

have just cleared a pile of feathers up in pursuit of the corpse now lol and the culprit .It will be my young cat Smudge i suspect

Another beautiful one here.

The gas was turned off at the mains at 8.30am so haven't been about to do the breakfast dishes yet.
I'm not boiling kettles of water to do it...gas should back on about 1pm.

Did some clothes washing last night,which went out on the line first thing.

Gas meter was taken out at about 10.30 this morning and thankfully they didn't have to dig up the drive to put in new pipe work.
Meter is standing out on the patio now ...waiting for the fitter to come and replace it. Hope they wont take too long :-(

if some one said to me five years ago i would never manage without the internet i would never have believed them lol

Can imagine how you feel Maz if you are having probs with your ISP.
We have the phone thro the same company, tho we have mobiles I would be furious if we had probs , only household family have my mobile number.
......Thinking about it if the PC went down I don't think the phone would , I'd still be annoyed with no internet access.

Glad you're OK Maz , PC and internet connections can be fixed, usually quicker than us ....as inanimate items what does it matter !!
