No frost around at 8am this morning Maz, lovely and sunny went cloudy and colder this afternoon but is lovely again now, keen wind tho.

It's been lovely all day so far, bit nippy first thing tho.

Silly me went to As*a in a tee shirt and long thinnish cardi....I was freezing cos of the air conditioning, and had to put my gloves on in the 'cooler isles'. !

I don't think it's stopped raining since yesterday afternoon. :-|

Morning all~~

Rain in the air, but no down pour which was expected .
All family back in work today so I have a bit of piece and quiet.

Hubby is going to ask for either voluntary redundancy or retirement. he's cheesed off with the organisation . They've lost 2 young girls for his section on secondment. If he goes there's no one there to cover , so I guess he will have had a run in with his boss today..she always goes to him when her boss asks questions,which she doesn't know the answer to.
Happy days !

Fluffy white clouds today with some good sunshine. Hope to get my second wash dry.
Hubby has a day off today , had to take the car in for service,still under warrantee, but they wanted to charge him £50 to look at the handbrake sticking / cluncking...perhaps it's not covered under the warrantee .
Our drive is flat...so he declined to pay for them to remove all the wheels and check it. The brake holds no prob, it does make a funny noise if not used for a while. As long as it works..that's fine.

It has just started raining here I got washing dry and have done my kitchen out top to bottom .just some ironing to do now

Rain first think, grey and damp now.

Hubby's been potting up the Begonias we successfully got them thro the winter,hope the come as well as last yr. I'm already missing not seeing my flowers at the front, glad that the Kerria and Forget me nots and stubborn hardy and have managed to thrive at the side of the paving... I have some lovely colour there.

It's like a valeting service here at the mo.
Neighbour is threatening to report us for running a commercial business from private premises ;-) He did say that in jest !
Hubby's car first, then son's new one ...blinking eck dead flies on the front of it and mucky down the side from driving back from Gravesend..can't have that ! And as the little Dyson was out dau did hers as well..she didn't wash hers tho.
Both men are now cleaning the little Citroen ,( son's old car ) like it's never been cleaned before ,cos it's up for sale....son was hopeless at cleaning it , tho it did always look fairly clean...it's the nitty gritty bits that peeps are going to look ,when buying! Inside the doors etc looked disgusting and wing mirrors,.... I've just done the wing mirrors with a tooth brush.
Any buyers ? Low mileage and he was never a boy racer, he couldn't have been in that car ;-) It severed him well and got him from A to B. Let's hope we can sell it quickly for a good price.

Both arrived home safely ,in separate cars within mins of each other, tho the both took different routes from the Severn Bridge into Wales.
Son is really pleased with the car... It does look lovely. Boys toys ;-)

Hubby and son have gone off with the intention of buying a car for son... only to the other side of London somewhere !..... went about 6.30am , not early for son cos that's normally the time he goes to work.
Haven't heard from them yet as to whether he's bought it or not.
