Sun is out...don't know for how long but it's quite windy.

Team GB are on the medals board then, nearly a gold for Liz in the cycling !

Hi all~~

Watched the opening ceremony of Olympics almost right thro, went to the bathroom and missed the bit with the rings, but caught up with it today ;-)
I found it rather slow at the start ( but I suppose that was the intention ) some very good bits, but I think was a ceremony to be watched on TV rather to have paid over £2K for the privilege..even if they had big screens up.

Patchy cloud and sunny spells, but it so humid, I have all windows open.

My neighbour who constantly irritates me by parking across my drive way, had his drive widened for him to get his car in easier, still leaves it outside, has just reversed on my drive to turn around cos there is only one way in and out of road now with the gas maintenance, closing the roads .
I'm not happy with that ...he has his own driveway to turn on , just cos the front of mine is now wide enough to park 3 cars he thinks it's an easy option.

awful news about the 7yr old boy that has been killed at Beamish museum.
Apparently he fell from a steam traction engine. Thoughts and prayers for his family

Good Morning all~~

Fine and sunny here, but quite windy.

Hubby decided to repaint the exterior of the bungalow , it took us ages to do it the first time ,cos it needed 2 coats of paint. It won't take so long this time, tho I probably won't be able to help cos my arm continually aches since the failed op on my elbow.
