morning all

afternoon its wet and slippery here but thawing slowly

another dark,grey wet day and still some ice underfoot.
It's my birthday on Sunday and was going to meet with some church friends on tues for lunch but we cancelled till the weather warms up.

4weeks to half term lol

Hubby nicked my car again yesterday, and unusual for him failed to get it all the way back home.. but we had 5 ft of snow and quite a hill to get up to get home. So he parked about200 metres away and took it again to get it off the road.
He and son got both the cars up this evening,so I will wonder if I have wheels in the morning , we are suppose to have rain, so he can take his :))

morning all we have more snow again here

it has been solid ice here all day EB we have cancelled all activities ubntil the weather improves

it's been very dark all day today and very cold with the odd flurry of snow but nothing serious so far,Might actually be able to have my toddler group on tomorrow all being well

our schools are open again.We have had a little rain today.Still chilly and icy out though.

good morning,no more snow overnight but it is windy today.Main road is clear again.Pavements are slushy and dirty.

I have never seen snow like this since we left germany where they cope better

See that we all have snow!!!!

Hubby's car is on the drive in a 3 ft drift, so mine( which is better in the snow and was in less deeper snow has gone for the day! He failed to get that out yesterday even.

He still had to dig the ice from around the wheels of mine ,only to meet a lady trying to do a 3 point turn 40yds down the road, she had a 4x4 but was totally stuck. so he had to dig her out to get past her.
She had no spade, towels ,paper or blankets which I always keep in my car this time of yr.
She only had to reverse 20yds down the road to get on a main track , but some peeps have no sense !

Many complaints( including mine ),have lead to them ploughing our St so at least we can get out onto the main roads which are but nevertheless icy so hopefully if we have no snow until Sunday, I can have my car back and do some 'tidy' shopping... Don't if I can make a meal of what hubby and dau bought today.. not to suit all the family anyway !

Had to dig son's car out (6inches) but it was so icy, he's just got home from work and has managed to park in the same spot he had left ( neighbours permission).
Hope we have a few fine days before we get the next snow fall, by which time hubby will want my car again !!

hi EB we are off too not sure when we are returning

hello,schools are closed here so have got Cara as well as Ava.I cancelled my toddler group too as its impossible trying to push buggies in the deep snow and most of the mums will have school children at home anyway.
