Afternoon all~~

Got 2 loads of washing out too Maz.
Then it seemed to go cloudy, when I checked it was vapout trails from the planes going over, we normally have quite a fe especially in the summer, but I counted 8 I could see at one time and 30 in half and hour and they are still passing overhead.

great news about the baby Brian.I wonder if there is a baby boom this year as I seem to be hearing about babies and pregnancies an awful lot lol
I have got 2 presents for baby girls to get this weekend and my hairdressers baby is due in 3 weeks(a boy) so will soon be looking for something for him too.A few neighbours also are expecting and another of my toddler group mums.Keeps me busy anyway.

80 miles is only just over an hour on the motorway, if you drive like I do, up to the speed limit but always carefully. You'll be seeing the family every week I suspect.
Is it their first ..? I hope they keep well whatever .

Yes, Maz, considerably quieter with the airport being closed; but I would prefer it the the misery, inconvenience and discomfort those poor souls still abroad are having to deal with. Hope they all get home soon.

Sandie, you can bet on our new baby getting spoilt by us (as well as several other folk), when we get to see her and her mummy and daddy. They live in the Birmingham area which is 80 miles north away (could be worse, I suppose, could be the other side of the world!).

Paula, I see you are still very much involved with Ava and Cara. Bet you get loads of hugs and kisses.....

Got to go now, something on tele. that I want to watch.

hi there back to work today .so time is going away again

hello.how lovely to have our Brian back with us!!
nothing unusual happening here.Done the washing,ironed yesterday.Took the girls to church with me yesterday and they were both well behaved.Thought I might have had to go into the hall with them but no they sat quietly colouring in for the whole hour apart from when I coughed during the prayers and our Ava said shhhh grandma lol
Cleaned the church this morning and not done much this afternoon.Better start to think what to make for tonights meal.....Oh what an exciting life I lead.
Mind you routine is less stressful lol

Take teddy to the dolls hospital ,they'll fix him, they always did my dolls or so mum told me, you can always buy him a new rattle when you're buying for the new little cherub :))

Hard not too but you mustn't spoil her just give her loads of hugs and love ( I know you will) and be there for her:))

I am just busy with my daughters wedding in 4 weeks time so its all hands on deck just had two weeks off .
my carpet is down and looks good though i have not tidied up yet from yesterday Sandie .i have all day once i have been to church to do it as my son is away until this evening .
I guess its quiter near you with no planes flying at the moment Brian .glad you are OK though

Well, ladies, where do I start!?

Nope..............nuthin' any of you said, that has kept me away (apart from what that thread-wrecker person did, which, as you know, gave me the real 'ump [poor old teddy, hurt his little nose when I threw him out of the pram............plus all the beads fell out of the rattle when it hit the floor]).

No, I kinda got out of the habit of coming into this site, though I click on all of the usual charities that I always have, daily.

$andie, thanks for digging me in the ribs; good to be back. Yes, thank you, Mrs B and I are fine. At first glance it looks to me as though the usual crowd are still posting. In a while I'll go back a few days and see what's been happening in your families. Still doing tons of w***ing and i**ning, I bet!

Our most important bit of news (not sure if I told you or not) is that we are to become great-grandparents for the first time early in June. Our only grand-daughter and her partner are expecting a little girl! We are thrilled to bits; very much loking towards it. Buying stuff already - Moses basket, cardigans, bonnets, etc. in pink, of course.

Got to pop out now and collect Mrs B from the charity shop she is working at. Will post again in a day or two, when I've fully regained my composure.................!!

been shopping this morning,got washing on the line and have bathed both dogs.Still got a few jobs around the house to do.Ava is here and both Cara and her are sleeping over tonight.Should be enough to wear me out lol

been lovely all day although temperature is dropping now.

beautiful morning but wintry weather forecast for tomorrow.Have got both grand daughters overnight tomorrow.First time I have had them together so hope they behave as there is a lot of jealousy lol
