Hi all

Blinking plumber didn't come ! I was going to ring him,but as it's 3 apt s he's missed hubby said not to bother, he'll use the plumber who did the bathroom in my dad's house when he was renovating it !

Very chilly here , but dry after a drizzly start this morning .

Hope everyone is well:) as can be expected;
my little finger , right hand is really giving me Jip this pm an I've found a tiny pimple like lump (moveable )
the arthritic nodule isnt,--- at the point where my little finger meets the knuckle. Must go back to the Dr sooner than he suggested.

Morning all

We have a clear bright sunny day here, bit windy, so have bedclothes in the wash, and one lot already out :)

Have to wait in today for the plumber but will go out for my walk once he's been.

Hi~~

Yes thanks Maz , the hand is usually better in the evening , but wasn't last night.
I went to bed at 3am and was up at 8am, the eyes are starting to go now.lol.
I was up and out early, and had a text from my son about 11am saying to ring him when I got home .
It turns out he had stayed with his mate last night, 50 yds down the road, cos he didn't have his key and we'd all gone to bed so he thought , if he'd come around the back of the house he would have seen the light on,and were out by 9ish in the morning, he didn't have his car key either.
And he was due in work at 12, ,he was half an hour late ! cos I got home at 11 45 am.
Hope you are all keeping well:)
Where is our Brian..? I hope he's OK, he did say he'd look in and keep us in check .lol
Goodnight all

Morning all~~

Wet here also, but been out for a walk armed with my very large brolly !
Advertising Scottish Power or Manweb as they were called, my bil used to work for them.. lovely colourful brolly !

Must get hubby to his wardrobe too ! He's a bit overweight and is concious of it, says.. I must loose this tummy.
Is Gary tall Paula ? That weight can't be good for his health.

Dau has tons of clothes (literally ).
In the past she's done a few car boot sales, she has so much and hardly wears them. She has offered some to me occasionally, cos I'm smaller than her and she's a size 14 / 16 with a big bust ! ( Doesn't get it from me ).I don't know what she weighs, but some of her clothes are size 12 even.
I'd like her to loose a bit of weight from her bum, but I don't mention it, she's not an unhealthy size, I am just so glad that she is not anorexic.
A few of my friends girls are close to it, so sad.
But of late she takes her clothes many still with the tags on , unworn, to the charity shop herself. Won't show me now , hubby says she will know that I will nag her about wasting money ! Wish I had it to think about wasting !
Ooh I would like to go thro it first as I could probably use quite a lot of it, I'm not too proud to wear hand me downs, I'm the youngest of 4 cousins (sister and I included, 2 yrs between the eldest and each one there after)
I was well dressed .lol .. Sister and always shared our clothes in our teens and even later.. double the wardrobe !!
On the other hand, hubby played squash for yrs and when he discarded his tops ( all branded names ) dau now uses them for bed, she's a daddy's girl perhaps that's why she wears them:)

Enough garble... must make son some sarnies for work.

must be clear out your wardrobe time lol.Gary sorted some stuff for the charity shop too only unfortunately his isn't because he has lost weight but because he has put loads on.He is now 22 stone.
I am still too fat and still weigh 14 stone 2 ,the same weight give or take a lb for past 2 yrs.
Gary has had to give up the morris dancing and the 4 mile walks because of his damaged knee and also spends a good part of the week at a desk now so all this has led to massive weight gain.
...............no excuse for me!!

*$parkling $andie* Report 12 Sep 2010 20:13

Hi all~~

We've had a fine day here, but the tee shirt type whites , which are a bit heavy didn't dry properly, shirts and towels which went out earlier were fine.
Been having a clean out, my wardrobe and a few of my son's drawers'
He had a face on him !! I've been asking him to do it for months, he buys new clothes and they end up on his bed in the day and his computer chair by night ! So I thought I'd clear out a few drawers for him to hopefully put the new ones in. !??
I know what I wash and haven't washed some for him over the last yr, so decided what he hadn't worn ( gone out of fashion ) was going out to Barnados if tidy (6 tops I have never washed and have not been worn) the rest is for the bin !
I gave my wardrobe a good going thro, I have lost weight so some v good clothes are too big, what I haven't worn in 18mths was washed to be freshened and is bagged for same charity shop. I do not intend increasing in size again and that is one way of retaining my current weight.
They say you should only check your weight once a week if you are trying to loose weight, which I did , but now I check every 2 days, cos if I have the 'munchies urge' I can put on 4lbs in 2 days easily.
I vary from9st to 9.4 and at 5ft 4 am happy with that , am well within my BMI
I do my brisk walking and find that enough exercise, cardio vascular as well.
Down to hubby now ..to clear his wardrobes and do a bit more exercise,
he has probs with his knee at the mo, it is swollen like a balloon, waiting for X ray results.
So much rugby and squash over the yrs has taken the toll on his joints !
My best school friends was an excellent athlete and taught PE, she's recently undergone ops on both her knees and is only 53.
Gentle exercise is the way, tho I played hockey and squash for yrs.
Brisk walking is now gentle enough for me.lol

Carrying the bags to the charity shop will be an effort .lol

Afternoon all~~

Back's a bit better, been out shopping without any probs, but is still a bit jippy.
I got up last night after watching Emmerdale and my leg had gone to sleep, so twisted over on my ankle (rhs ) and it's painful today.
Cut me in half and I'll be OK; none of it is permanent ( except my hand, hope to have that sorted asap) just a nuisance.
God bless those with permanent probs and give them strength to overcome them:
