Afternoon all~~~~

Workmen have finished all our paving.
They have done a lovely job, but I miss my flowers at the front.
The cars will be safe off the road tho , the drive is long enough to accommodate the cars , but all in a line , pain then changing them around.
Have to go looking for planters/ troughs now so they can be put on the front, the ones we have always went on the back patio, though we have a flower bed there, just below the patio.

Sorry Paula , I just read back to your post of 12 .6.11 and I haven't answered your questions.
We live in South Wales ,in Gwent , nowhere near Snowdonia, BIL lives on Anglesey much nearer, but I don't think he or his partner (he's divorced) would want a dog, they both work.. BIL only part time now and his partner works away a lot. She has a Masters in Geology and often works on the North Sea Rigs !!!!! Must be earning a fair bit .Good for her:)
I'd love another dog but hubby's not keen , our last one was a rescue dog and lived til he was about 18 , he was a lab cross.
We had him for Dad , but when Dad couldn't walk him his normal 3 times a day, we had him with us.
The front garden was mostly perennials / shrubs, which we also have in the rear garden, we gave most away to neighbours and the workmen :)
The only one thing we weren't able to save was a Siberian Pea Tree.
Too old, big and established to transplant.

It looks a bit clinical at the mo, but there is more than enough room for the cars and potted plants.
When the 'children' flee the nest we will probably put up a small wall across part of it then.

Evening all ~~~

Both our neighbours are away on hols so we are are holiday watch . I' ve just noticed that the sand they used on our drive has blown over onto next doors drive, but they said it would shine it up anyway. They left us 2 bags to use for future use, it's very fine , not builder's sand .

Hope you got that cuppa I sent you Stan !

Now the workmen have gone I'm not making another cuppa for years !
