Off to have the stitch out today , so I will have my daily walk back and fro, take me about an hour.
Unless they are running behind at the surgery, if so I'll cadge a lift when hubby is on his way home.

Quite cool but sunny here today.It was freezing yesterday.You don't know what to wear for the best do you?
Really must try much harder to lose some weight.Everything feeling tight grrr

Hi ladies~~

Bit of a change on here.lol.
Been playing around with it this morning.. no early afternoon.

Thanks for asking Paula about my neighbour Meg, hadn't seen her around for a few days..what with Dr's and Nurses apts, so was going to go up to see her to see if she was OK and take her to vote.. Apparently she was a trade union rep in her last job. She'd want someone to watch the dog when, if she went into the Polling Station. She goes past there walking the dog, but gets a little confused, and thinks she used to work in the school used as Polling Station, but I've just seen her passing and asked if she wanted me to look after the dog when she goes in, but no she thinks an old colleague of hers still works there, so won't go into the school grounds. Shame really... and tho I can handle the dog , she won't let anyone else walk her.

Son went for an interview in Cardiff today.. Web Designing, he doesn't think he's got it as the software they use he's never used, it's £600 a shot, he uses a lot of other design packages, and has done a few websites for local companies (freelance)

He's still looking:)

Must make a move on the food.. workers will be home in about an hour.

Hope Lois is responding to the antibiotics, and Smudge is behaving himself.

Just as well I've got things I'm interesting in 'My threads'.. that's normally all I go into.. Sometimes went into Chat or General.. we have only one choice now.
The 5th emoticons says it's a smile ..but it looks as it he's pushing his tongue out to me.

evening just been busy here today

hello, am wondering whether to add a profile pic or not.Have you two decided?

Been thinking about putting something on.. not a photo me !!
But there 's nothing in ' my photos' suitable at the mo , and I'm hopeless at putting pics or photo in there , must decide what to put in first and then get one of my men to show me ....again.!!
Thought of something Sparkly or Welsh may suit my board name or Nationality.lol I did think of a puppy.. still hankering for one.
EB ,if you do have one you must have a cute little bunny :-) or a cute Lab.
Oh what should Maz have..?.. A Chef's hat ?or a cute little kitten.? :-)

When I got married I wanted a set of le Creuset Iron cast cookware, but settled for a cheaper Tower set but good quality make... just as well they were difficult to lift then.. I'd never manage them now,since this op, can just about manage the one's I have.lol

I decided on a Welsh love spoon for my Avatar .
Thought this one was unusual..as love spoons go ..not really traditional, but I neither am I.lol

Thought the flag would look too over the top, found a nice image of a Daff and a leek, but didn't want to steal our Daff's thunder.

I quite like it as a wall decoration and may order one for myself and my sister in US... must check out the size and details first.

Nothing special as such Maz.. Sunday lunch, veg from the garden, both children safely around the table.. that's special enough for me.
I prep the veg and hubby tends to it whilst cooking.

I don't know how my nan used to manage on a Sunday, tho Gramps grew all his own veg so it may have been prepared the night before..they had 4 children, all of whom went to chapel 3 times on a Sunday, over a mile a walk away up an extremely steep hill , nan and gramps went morning and night, I suppose the afternoon was 'Sunday school' shall have to ask my aunt.
My aunt is 91, quite sprightly and mentally on the ball, I call her my second mum.. she was my mum's sister and peeps say I am more like her than my own mum. I phone her regularly and we joke that she is so fit cos of those 3 walks she used to make to the chapel on a Sunday.
It was the opposite side of the village to where we lived, tho I have walked it many times...and boy is it a steep lane. I've driven up it and it is almost a first gear drive at one point. :-(

morning all Sandie thats lovely I always think of things like that . i look around my area and realise that I am very blessed also I have a lovely male companion . and I am very fortunate

late night nudge again. Poor Lois was very lame yesterday and ended up having pain killing injection.She seems better today but it is awful to see such a young pup like that. She was moaning and nudging our hands as if pleading with us to do something.
Vet says she might have flare ups so we have some pain relief medicine to give her.
Been to a funeral at church today.It was packed out. Hopefully tomorrow
will be a good day..

yes she has been full of beans today but the vet wants to see her tomorrow to assess the situation again.
