Hello another wet and windy start to the day here.It is dry at the moment but still very windy although not cold.Just pottering about doing housework all day today.Hope everyone is well . xxx

Left / lost my see thro brolly my dau bought me for Xmas, in the hosp on Wed... had to see so many different peeps , must have put it down in one of the rooms and forgotten it .:(
It wasn't expensive but I hate loosing things.
I had my purse taken out of bag on Thurs, whilst going to the other hospital in the city. There was about £6 in it, plus all my 'plastic credit and debit cards', so I cancelled them as soon as I got home, they are 'chip and pin' , but someone could have used them on line, so the bank told me today... hopefully not. Once they were bocked..they couldn't.
Nothing has been taken out of our current account up to today anyway, and the credit company

Oh no Sandie, that's awful. So sorry to hear your news.It's hard enough having to go to hospital without having your purse stolen. :>(

How is Lois, Paula ..you said it wasn't good news about her hips.
She's only a young dog.. what is the prob..?

All is going well here but very dusty i have made some areas to relax a bit in this weekend got all washing out as its cleared up now

Had my new debit card today from the bank..they were quick.
The credit card is in hubby's name and I am secondary card holder ,so he had to request that.. 7..10 days, Son's discount card from As *da may take 3 weeks !! to be replaced.
I did have 'words' with the first guy I spoke to at the bank cos the 2 questions he asked me I didn't know, (he was not of Welsh nor Briti*h origin) tho I had my account number as we still have a cheque book,
He wanted to know our overdraft limit and a regular direct debit transaction , I didn't have our bank statement to hand and asked if he could wait until I found it but he said I'd failed the questions and hung up on me....Boy was I bouncing.
Once I found the statement and rang back spoke to a Briti*h lad, I was able to give the info and all was OK... hence :) new card.
I was initially annoyed and then upset ...feels like a violation again your privacy ... £6 isn't a lot, but to some it would be. My cards were my concern as hubby had transferred monies into our current account to put into an ISA.
Whey hey..that's life..
Don't bother dusting Maz ..it will only add up, wipe down with a damp cloth, hope things are going OK.
What is the prob with Lois's hind legs Paula.. she only very young.Hope it can be sorted:)

HI,Lois has hip displasia which might mean 2 total hip replacements.Instead of a proper socket she has been born with just flat bones.At the moment she is on Synoquin to see how she goes.She doesn't limp or anything but you can feel the bones slipping when she moves or sits.They wont do replacements before she is a year anyway as she is still growing.The meds are very expensive and the ops will be astronomical :>(

evening ladies I am out on the early train so it was too much to get on here and coevr up stuff before i go .it is going well the kitchen is being put in the radiators are done downstairs , The electrics are swapped over,and the roof has been done

evening all just back off train am on a course for my second job this week for three days its down in stockton . it is making a change and giving the workmen a wide birth for a few days

Sorry to hear about Lois condition Paula.. gosh at such a young age I wouldn't have expect her to have such a problem.

Seems as if things are moving on with your renovations Maz, I always keep out of the workmen's way too, but do tend to stay in the house.

I hate having workmen in and usually try to get a friend to come over while they are here.
Had a nice walk with Ava and Lois earlier. Lois is only to have short walks from now on .By mid afternoon the breeze had turned into gale force winds.There is loads of rubbish blowing all over the front street.A lot of it seems to be newspapers.It was bin and recycling day today so most likely it has come from that.
Along a footpath that I regularly use someone has dumped a huge pile of empty cans and bottles and tried to set fire to them????
Had to laugh though as a little further on someone has put 2 long offcuts of cream carpet over the bit of the track that was the muddiest ........it was complete with horses hoof prints lol.....the mind boggles.

morning all things are progressing here all is part started but no section is completed so we cant put anywhere back together ,but washer is working so that helps
