Morning~~~

It's lovely and sunny here so far:)

Understandable Maz when you use the bus when your legs are sore after working.
My back was playing up a bit yesterday, but I still could have walked . John my neighbour actually got home seconds before I did.. I had to wait a bit for the bus..still feel lazy about it tho.

Health is wealth and John is blessed with that :)

Easter Bunny Report 17 Mar 2011 16:08

feeling really low today. One of my long term face book friends has been battling cancer for a long while. Yesterday she left a message saying she was in a lot of discomfort and that her stomach had swollen like a nine month pregnancy and was rock hard. She was going to the docs as her next appointment with the oncologist isn't until April 4th.
That was early yesterday and she hasn't been back on her puter yet.
I am concerned she is filling up with fluid the way my mam and 2 of my friends did. Come to think of it our Donna did too a week before she died.
All night long I prayed for her and can't stop thinking about what she has already gone through...........

Hope you are feeling much better , as for Andrew, kick his butt Maz.
had a fb message from Maryanne this morning. She said they have drained the fluid from her abdomen yesterday and that she weighs 8 pounds lighter.
They have given her some options as to treatment to consider over the weekend and she is booked to have a cat scan on Tuesday to see how many tumours there are. They also said if she hadn't gone in when she did she wouldn't have lasted another day.
Please keep her in your prayers.

I've been feeling sorry for myself and done a lot of sleeping .. well trying to, lot of sad events have happened over the last few yrs ,and deceased birthdays, WA, for this week and next..
Due for an op on my hand..never been under the knife before, am dreading it. I've had 2 children, natural births, phew why am I grizzling.

I should be positive and pick myself do my usual walking etc.

I feel ashamed when there is Maryanne battling cancer and others , Izzy and her son Ash, Daff the names could go on.
I keep them in my prayers.

Hope you 2 girls are feeling better

$andie, sorry to hear you are feeling down.Hopefully now spring has arrived we will all begin to feel a little more positive. Are you anxious about the op?
When is it you go into hosp again?
Maz,I am pleased you are feeling well enough to return to work.Take care not to overdo things.
Cara has spent the past 3 days crying because her friend has got a kitten and she wants one.Rochelle says no way because she is at work all day, her kitchen is small and there is no where to put a litter tray and Cara soon lost interest in her 2 guinea pigs which Rochelle has to look after. Kids eh?
love and hugs xx

*$parkling $andie* Report 21 Mar 2011 21:39

Hi~~
My Dr thought the op was going to be under Local Anaesthetic, but it is going to be General:( Never been under the knife before, so yes am a bit anxious.
I have to go to my local hosp on the 30th to check that I am fit for GA and then the Op is set for 11th of April,...... it was by chance that I rang the hosp today and was told I also have an apt at a hosp 30miles away for tests on the 31st to check where the Ulnar nerve is trapped, to see on what part of my hand / arm they are going operate.
The letter for the apt for the 31st was only sent out yesterday, just as well I phoned them cos I could have had something planned for that day.
I would have had to have had cancelled it tho.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's all worth the hassle.

Opted for none with my son, no probs at all.. just had to have 2 fans running to cool me down.lol

ooh muck and dust Maz lol
Sandie it's grey here again today although the sun is valiantly shining through every so often. As long as my washing dries.
Been to the garden centre and bought a pot of mini daffs, a tray of primula and a pot of viola to put a bit of colour in the back yard.

*$parkling $andie* Report 24 Mar 2011 13:08

HI all~~

Just got back from the hairdressers......
Very happy with the dry cut, tho I did snip a few bit's off here and there when I got home.lol
I've decided to do wash in washout colourant now,@ 99p a sachet, my is still it's natural colour at the back, except 'the crown' so I can tone it down gradually rather than a permanent colourant. A cut ,colour and blow dry cost me £40 ( my cousin living 10 miles away pays about £60 and her dau in Bristol.. well really silly prices.
I just finger dry my hair now too...am a getting a miser in my old age or sensible and thrifty .lol

How is your friend Paula..? Has she had the results of her scan.?
Hope the news was more favourable than she was fearing.
Hope the grandchildren aren't 'wearing' you out.:))

Maz, you say you have quite a bit of work for the builders to do.. been there ,recently new bathroom, new roof and cladding on the dormer extension.. I just ply them with tea or coffee and keep out of their way, .....whilst am keeping a eye on what the are doing .lol.
I made sure I had everything covered with MY dust sheets to protect my carpets tho they put theirs down on top, I knew that mine actually touching my carpet were clean.:)
Hope they do a good job, ours have thankfully, and when I say at the end to them 'what's the damage.?'.. I mean to my bank balance.lol
