Glorious day again here.

Chris and the girls are in my thoughts daily and probably will be whilst my dau and the girls are still friendly..probably for my lietime.
My 2 are the same age also Maz , cos even when dau and friend went to Senior school, S in her own town , the younger sister K still used to come to me.
A lovely family broken hearted.

Afternoon all~~ Hope everyone is fine, glorious day again here:)

Been doing a big clean up today, every room hoovered and spick and span, I don't normally do all the same day, but my back and knee felt OK so I went for it !
Goodness only knows what I pay have sucked up with the Dyson in son's room, under his computer desk , it's a very long one, initially it only one surface, but with a bit of thought and design on my part, and work on hubby's, we put another curved shelf above the other top to give him more room and accommodate the PC he then had, he now has a flat screen, but he fills the desk with loads of 'junk' and bit's of IT stuff. Boys !!
I just saved 3 IT wires, 2 USB sticks and a pair in micro headphones from being sucked up !
I'll check it now when I empty it.lol just in case I did miss something !

Our schools have gone back today, usual chaos on the roads for the school run this morning.

It's remained bright and dry, but not as sunny as we suspected.

Son has just got his first customer for whom he will make a website , his hairdresser, as a gesture for offering to do so gave him a reduced price haircut /style this am, and a free straightening next week !.lol
His hair is dead straight ,but it curves around towards his ear on the left hand side and said hairdresser will 'perm it' I assume so it lies straight on the nape of his neck !! Wow , what a big deal !!

He'll get a few £100 for setting up the required website tho :) and he loves doing it.

Gone a bit wet this afternoon :( Shouldn't grumble had a fine morning and clothes dried.)

Started to dry off again so hubby's going to dig up all the remaining potatoes and beetroot:)
I hate having to buy so called fresh beetroot or bottled, home-grown is so so much better.

past few days the weather has been nice so washing has dried on the line no problem.
Molly finally ate her dinner and had a game with her ball yesterday for the first time since Keira had to be put to sleep.I'm so pleased she is beginning to feel better.She was fretting so much I was worried I would lose her too.
I am undecided whether to buy a puppy or take a rescue dog.Having the grand kids here a lot is a worry with bringing a strange dog in to the house which might not be too keen on little ones but so many dogs are abandoned.
Have had an upset tummy since last night so spent a fair bit of time in the bathroom lol

well last day out today have been into durham for lunch today not done much else
Andrew is busy with the youth athletics driving them around so not seen him much this week end

It's a hard choice to make Paula , a puppy or a rescue dog.
Dad was 78 when I persuaded him to have a dog when mum died, he said he couldn't cope with a puppy to train so we had a young mutt from the rescue centre, part lab with various other's breeds thrown in.
We couldn't have wished for a better temperamental dog with children, mine were 4 and 2 at the time,..wasn't too keen on male strangers , he lived with dad but saw the children when dad visited or I visited him, lived with us or dad til he was 18.
Children and I in tears when I had to take him to the vets for the final time..
On the other hand I had a rescue pup before I had children and he turned into a schizo, wouldn't have let him near unknown adults let alone children, he didn't grow up with children , unfortunately he 'turned' on my dad (who had had dogs since he was a child ) and I had not option but to have him put to sleep:((
Take your grandchildren along with you which ever road you choose to go along , the dog often chooses you rather than the other way around:)

morning all ,I did not et another dog as i am on my own alot but i did get a kitten to keep Tramp our other cat company ,Gizmo is 14mths now and great fun

Miserable old day weather-wise here today.
Hope everyone's OK.:)

I only had cat's when I was a small child, we had a tabby and a black cat.
I loved them both and used to cuddle and play with them, but the black one was a right horror, scrammed me to pieces, used to steal food from the kitchen table --if your back was turned, he was a stray and disappeared out of the blue the same as he arrived !
