We had snow overnight,then rain on and off today . I dread to think what everyones heating bills are.The churches will be astronomical
.We have had lots of vandalism at the church and the police were out again this morning.We have now decided we must have metal palisade fencing put around the front.(we already have it all round the back). It is so ugly to look at but what alternative is there.It will cost around £2,000.
Money we can ill afford.We are only a very small congregation of 14 members.
The damage these morons have caused is shocking ,they ought to be ashamed of themselves.

hello we have just cold and damp it so painful on my joints have just finished painting my loo i am very pleased with it .i had a new loo fitted with a sink before christmas then ,the pipes were all covered in .which i have oiled the wood and now just painted it .

Afternoon all.
we had sleet this morning, but it's fine with breaks of sunshine now, tho bitterly cold.

It's my aunt's 90th birthday today, there are 24 of us going out for a meal to celebrate. She's marvellous physically and mentally.
It's pleasure to meet up with family rather than at a funeral.
I think I am the only cousin going, because the others are either ill or live too far away, had it been in the daytime I think 3 of them and their partners would have ,but we have a bad forecast for tonight

Had a lovely evening with my family at my aunts 90th yesterday.
Been a glorious day today, clothes all dried:) but no flowers sprouting yet.
Weather man says we are a month behind, no sign of crocuses ,snowdrops or daffodills.

morning got all my washing dry yesterday but we have a layer of snow again at the moment so may not get any done today

We had 2 beautiful days of sunshine Mon and Tues so got loads of washing done:)
It's dry today but cloudy tho you can see the sun trying to shine thro.

Yesterday I spotted some crocuses and primroses starting to come out, these primroses are right at the end of the back garden so hadn't noticed them, today I can see some coming up in the front garden:)

feeling stressed at the moment.My 36 yr old niece Donna,who has cancer is now in hosp with a blood clot near her heart.She is in a lot of pain so they have upped the morphine which makes her very sleepy.The ward cant have flowers because the patients all have respiratory problems.(was sending her some)
Her husband is going to pick the children up from school,give them their tea and take them into visit Donna. We know she hasn't got long,please pray for a peaceful pain free passing and for the family.
