Hi all~

What a glorious day it's been, still is :-D
Had the Olympic torch run thro our neighbouring town yesterday.
I was shopping there at 9.30...it was chaos then so I didn't bother to go to watch it. There were 3 runners 2 local lads, one disabled, the other the youngest deputy Mayor of our neighbouring borough, the other was a Dutch Synchronized Swimmer who I'd never heard of. Cos her team has disbanded and couldn't get into the Olympics, she applied to do a torch run ??!!

Hi folks~~

Lovely day again,weather-wise.

I've had some sad new about my cousin in Dorset passing away.

I've spoken to her dau Ceri today ,she'd been under the weather for a few days , but passed away in her sleep on the 17th.

The rest of the family only found out cos her Ceri put a notice in our local newspaper., and my other cousin happened to buy that paper and saw the notice in it.
My Aunt is gutted that we had found out that way, thro the newspaper, just happened that her son had bought one that day, I don't buy that particular newspaper, neither does she.
I don't understand it ,we are a close family, why they didn't ring one of us,they have my number and my Aunt's deffo ! :-(

Asd* do the price challenge now, I had 90p off a bill last week and 75p today.

It's my closest store any way, Tho I do like to use the butcher and greengrocers in the town, not much else there now other than, hair salons, estate agents and opticians :-(

Haven't had the thunderstorms we've been threatened....still time .

Been watching the Royal pageant.... going back to it in a bit.
From what I've seen Queenie's been on show most of the time and on her feet, gosh I would have had to had a nap by now,shame about the heavy rain, but it didn't seem to dampen peeps spirits.

The said the worst of the storm would hit us about now.
It's been 'nappy 'weather all day.........

But wind is picking up now and rain increasing.
