Ann in Glos, the Pork Stroganoff was delicious, but her are a couple of tips, to make it better. When you have fried the onions, and removed them with the slotted spoon, then have put the Pork in to brown, you will find that even if you have drained the pork first, it will make too much liquid at this stage, so the meat will not brown, it will only boil. So, tip some of the liquid away, and give yourself a little longer to brown the meat, or it will be tough. because the meat has been marinated, it retaines the (sour) Stroganoff flavour. |

Breasts of Chicken ( Without Skin ) get a couple of Leeks Thoroughly wash, Slice lengthways,put in roasting tin or whatever, a few glugs of olive oil ,then put breasts on top ( Chickens )pour honey over them,then get a mixer /Liquidiser,put in carrots, onions, garlic, soy sauce, glug of tomato sauce the same of spicy brown,add a nice glug of Brandy,Sherry and some more olive oil,Whiz it around till a nice gooey liquid form,pour over the breasts,cover with tinfoil and put in a low oven for about hour and half.serve with a medley of veg and saute potatoes.quite nice, I,m having it tonight with bramley apple crumble to follow ( apples from the garden.) **M**. |

Can't cope with the smell of them once they're too ripe! Mashed with creme fraiche or natural yoghurt is good - but I hoped for more ideas. |
