Have been through this situation so know what it's like - very worrying indeed.

However, medical science and the treatment of heart conditions is fantastic these days so hopefully all will go well.

Sending good wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thank you again for your wonderful support - it is truly heart-warming.

I was called in this morning by the Ward Sister - he was really rather poorly due to an infection, but he was improved somewhat when I visited again this afternoon.

The reassuring news is that the heart is recovering well, and there will not now be a need for him to have a pacemaker.

His big problem now is the infection, which we pray will respond to the antibiotics.

Thank you again - and bless you all

Fran

Hello Freewheel

i have just read you posting and simply wanted to say that I have added both you and your husband to my quiet thoughts and positve thinking time which I have every day. Asa wife I understand how difficult this time must be, as a recently retired nurse I know how frightening some ot the equipment and information can be, but the news is sounding good and that is something to hang onto. Modern medicine is amazing and everything possible will be done.

remember to look after yourself as well

You are both In my thoughts

Just going to bed but want to send positive thoughts that improvements continue and you will find your husband a lot better when you next visit. I have three relatives with pacemakers so I worry I will be the next one, but hope it doesn't come to that, and glad your hubby hasn't got to have one.

Don't forget to take care of yourself, while he is in hospital, keep yourself well for when he comes home.
