I was looking forward to reading that thread again but as it's gone I thought I'd add here what I wanted to add there ..

Apart from not liking to see fat people eating chips/doughnuts in public

I don't like:

People being very loud (and boring) on mobile phones

Teenagers who do not "see" me when barging past on the street (am I invisible at my age or are they just rude?)

People playing their car stereos really really loudly - usually it's not the sort of music I like which makes it worse!

People who sniff a lot and don't seem to know what a tissue / hankie is for

There are more - but please get your dislikes off your chests here ...

I can't abide..apart from what Mrs Grumpy has detailed.... people who hockle on the street...grrr it makes my guts rumble pretty bad.
Also peeps who don't clean their teeth. I have a boss at work who has more fur coats on his teeth than should be allowed. I feel so sick when he is speaking to me. Excuse me while I puke up.

people, children and adults who 'swoop' past me on a bike on the pavement, I know sometimes it is safer especially for children but if they don't ring their bell or make some sort of noise I don't hear them being hard of hearing. If I were to change direction, to cross the road, they would run into me.
People in mobility scooters who zoom along and expect me to leap out of the way.
people who sit in the outside seat on the bus and have to be asked for access to the other seat, even though they know the bus is full.
people who drive their cars through puddles soaking pedestrians.

What does 'hockle' mean?

Spitting in the street
litter louts
sniffing(OH does it)just a habit but drives me to despair.
Tail gaters
I am sure there are a lot more,but I don't want to moan lol

People who sniff all the time and dont even think about a tissue.
Chewing gum loudly.
Bikes on pavements.
Que jumpers or rude pigs who push on the train as you are trying to get off
I used to hate anyone lighting up a fag while you are still eating., or blowing smoke near me.
Putting bags on a seat beside them on a busy train then growling when you ask them to move...which I do all the time.
Dog owners who let their dogs go on to play areas.

Fiona aka Ruby...Hockle means up here in the north east...by that I mean Geordie land..someone who brings up a phlemy spit from their boots.
