Lately I have found myself reading the boards less and less. For me they were pretty boring. I seemed to miss all the spats just catching the aftermaths which seemed to drag on and on.

However I have always enjoyed Eldrick's posts. I didn't know he had been banned, yet again. I am glad he is back.

My thanks to all of you that contributed to this thread. It is the funniest one that I have read in a long while. Perhaps I should look in more often again.

Bye Eldrick,

Have a truly lovely day.... you just watch them old ladies !!

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 28 Jul 2009 12:43

Enough of this church thing, it's making me feel a little faint. You have to ease into things you know, it's not easy for me.

Really must be off. I have to go and do some shopping and look for some old ladies to help across the road, feed the pigeons, rescue a few abandoned puppy dogs and kittens and look for a new tank top.

See you later my friends :-)

There's no subscription Eldrick but you have to go on a rota to clean some brass and bake fairy cakes for the church roof :)

Eldrick,

There might be a Brotherhood Club at your Church you'll have to make inquiries on Sunday..........,

Saint Eldrick !
Now that has a nice ring to it
lol

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 28 Jul 2009 12:34

Well, it all sounds good to me. Get your sins forgiven, have a bit of a sing song and a bit free booze (once the swine flu's out of the way), get to meet lots of nice people and mingle with the tweeds and twinsets section of society. All for just a few pence.

Am I missing something here? Sounds too good to be true. Is there an annual subscription, like the golf club?

Sue ,
Now I am rolling....about the floor.

Eldrick is doing his best to became a Saint so we should all be pleased for him.

I go church as well Eldrick but the wine I have must come from (off the lorry)...its tasteless .

Our Em

Our Em Report 28 Jul 2009 12:28

The wines Free Eldrick, but you have to listen to some stories from a really really old book told by a man ( usually) in a dress, sing some songs , bow your head and pretend to pray to some bloke called God, and then fling a donation to some passing women in twinsets and pearls first...
The pubs' less hassle :)

No wine on offer at the moment-due to swine flu.

Sue Report 28 Jul 2009 12:23

ROFL I believe it's rather pricey, although if you can perform some sleight of hand when the plate comes your way it will be free (but you don't get very much). You will have to run around and rejoin the back of the queue :-))

Edit: thank you M that was the one quip for the week.

Do they have wine there? Why didn't someone tell me before now! Is it free or is it pub prices?
