It's about time the loopholes were closed with regards the upper age they will allow IVF worldwide.

What a selfish and very ignorant woman.xx

I believe it is a very selfish thing for a woman over 70 to want to have a baby; it does make me wonder if she is thinking of the child at all.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 23 Jul 2009 08:26

young 72 or not
way to old to become a mum
a child's for life she is to old to have enough life
to give adequate care to a child on a long term basis

MissFitz Report 23 Jul 2009 08:24

Was she a young 72yr old

MarionfromScotland

MarionfromScotland Report 23 Jul 2009 08:22

Yes it is wrong and very selfish.
She had her career(didnt catch what she did) but she felt the time is right now.Dont know how long she has been trying though.

She should look after one of these 'dummie'ones that teanagers get to take home or an active two year old to look after for a day or two then see if she still want one lol.
I'm sure she would make a lovely adoptive Granny :))

The fertility doctors should not encourage them

Julia

Julia Report 23 Jul 2009 08:21

At 63, I can barely look after myself let alone look after someone that would be so dependant on me for their every need. This should not be allowed, full stop
Just my opinion, of course

she should get a dog or a fluffy kitten
BUT a baby NO way

MissFitz

MissFitz Report 23 Jul 2009 08:17

And who will look after the child if she dies.
And does she have a husband

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 23 Jul 2009 08:16

SORRY

but i think this is very wrong
she is far to old to care for a child
who will chase it round the house and care for it
when the child is 10 she will be 82
