stay positive thats all you can do. I am sending tons of kind wishes and thoughts and say that my stroke that I had in April was a bleed and I am doing well and I would say to those sceptics who think its wrong to ask for sympathy discuss things like this on chat I have really appreciated support from some people on here. It is very isolating having a stroke and finding out that I could type with one hand was the best medicine in the world. I cant do a lot just yet but to join in and chat with people is a tonic. Positive thoughts get you through. I hope your dad comes round soon. love him and be there |

Just looking in to see if there is any more news.... not that there would be until later today.... the dr's would probably have to do their rounds, etc etc... I'll look back in later. |

Hi Ann, sorry things don't look too good for your d.i.l.'s father - I hope he finds the strength to fight back and makes a good recovery if it is possible. Such a worry for all the family and sad to see someone you love go through all that. |

thanks Jenny and daff. Think he might have more odds stacked against him though, as my daughter pointed out, at his age (think he is about 76) the operation would be very risky poor man. |
