Hi everyone

Linda ............ sorry to hear about the train strike. No wonder you're mad!!

I suppose the consultants will have to decide which of them is the most important for Tec to see :-)

Daughter and grandson arrived safely yesterday evening ............. almost 9 hours door to door, 2 planes with a very short transfer time in Montreal as the first plane was about 30 minutes late.

We're babysitting right now while daughter has coffee at a local Starbucks with her high school friend .......... grandson is on "quiet time" watching a movie, so I get a bit of time looking at my sites, and OH is in the garden while the sun is shining.

Tomorrow I think is Ikea, plus ????

and Monday is going to see the new great niece, born last Monday

Monday is a Stat Holiday ...........

take care everyone

It is lovely to see you Carole, I saw the engagement ring on Facebook.

Sorry I turned the thread blue, but I am still spitting tacks

I managed to talk to Tec this afternoon, he has being problems with his mobile, his son and law has deleted lots of stuff this afternoon and it seems to be working better now.

He has been seen by the occupational therapists, but they haven't been to the house yet. He was confused by the date of the false leg appointment, it is on the 27th in Wrexham, he also has an appointment to see the consultant in Newtown an a haematology appointment in a different Welsh town all on the same day. You think they could get their act together, but apparently not. He sent his love to everyone

Linda, I am quite shocked! I am pretty sure you don't like swear words, so you must be very angry. They certainly know when to take action, don't they! Most annoying for people that rely on rail services.

Just thought I would let you all know I am still alive lol

Mainly, I would like to pass my best wishes on to our Tec, I think about him every day and I miss his posts on here. I am hanging out for his return!!!
Please Linda, pass on my love to Tec.

Good news today...My niece and nephew have both announced their engagements to their respective partners. I am very happy for them all, and very much approve of their excellent choices, perfect!

I hope everyone is keeping well <3

Grr, I am really annoyed the ****** rail union is going out on strike. Here we go again with the ***************************** holding the country to ransom Substitute whatever you want for the random asterisks, if I put what I am thinking I would be banned.

Of course they are hitting Bank Holiday Monday and over into the Tuesday to cause the maximum amount of misery.

I am supposed to be going down to London on the Monday, then bringing Eve back up here on the Tuesday, I already have the tickets booked. They are absolute ******** as far as I am concerned

I had the day to myself today so I met a friend for coffee near our harbour. Sunny but very crisp - the harbour looked lovely. Then I had a bit of volunteer work to do. I spent the afternoon reading feeling no remorse at being so lazy :-D

It is a lovely sunny day here.

I am playing with my nice new iphone 6, very flashy :-D The transfer of my old numberto it should happen today,so I hope that goes well.

I am waiting for two people to come who bought some garage things we sold on Ebay. The auction finished on Wednesday, they have to collect in person. They could have arranged to come anytime, but they both wanted 11am today. What are the odds on that happening I wonder.

Then I have Meals on Wheels to deliver, then the rest of the day is mine

We went to the cinema AGM last night. They have a buffet and a quiz after it. We didn't disgrace ourselves by coming last, but we didn't wine either which is good as the winning team has to do next years quiz

This morning on the early news, hearse stops at busy intersection and a body strapped to a gurney falls out into the pouring rain. Himself bounded out of bed to computer for details to see if it was son-in-law. No not his company.

Later OH texted SIL and asked aren't they clipped in as well and he said yes.. and Questions will be asked over this.

Hope you get better soon Sue xx <3

You are so lazy :-0

Our son has booked a ticket to Florida for the half year break. Because he has been doing some volunteer work for various people in the Uni he has built up a list of contacts. He is going to Florida to see if he can get some volunteer work which hopefully will lead to paid work at the end of the year.

What have you been up to today?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 13 May 2015 22:28

Hello :-)

The wind appears to have died down but it is very chilly. There was unexpected snow and ice in the highlands and the wind turned very cold yesterday afternoon.

Poor Sue, I hope you feel better soon

I have got a new toy, a nice new iphone 6. I am just setting it up tonight, I wont have my number transferred to it until some time on Friday. It is very like the i pad which is good, less new things for my brain to learn

Sue .................

oh dear

I hope you feel better soon xxxx

The rain that was threatened for today has still not arrived (it's ca 4:30 pm our time) ....... lots of lovely sun though.

BUT I couldn't see the mountain tops on the other side of the harbour, they were covered with thick dark clouds, so something was going on up there!

Sorry everyone - missed you again. I went to bed with a headache and have woken up late with it. It's very windy here and it affects my sinuses. On top of hayfever I feel like I need a head transplant.

Great news about Tec <3
