I have read what was going on, on FB and it can be quite rife on Facebook and I do like the fact that you have put a copyright on most of your photos. Their behaviour is petty when they cannot handle criticism regarding the legality of it all by blocking you and others on that page.. I have had a look at the page and decided not to like it.. for a start I would probably be banned as well.

Hello all. I am now on Broadband.

There is a FB page which copies photos from anywhere and does not give accreditation. I gave details on a group of 3 which came from my friend's community page. He said he had told them that what they had done was illegal and he had been blocked from the page. I then went on and also said that they should have the accreditation and said it was illegal. I have also been blocked, but not before Gail (Ruby of OZ I think she used to be on here) had 'liked' my comment, and she has now also been blocked. I am on a mission now to let people know that that page is acting illegally. If they copy any more of my dad's photos without asking and giving accreditation I will try to contact FB to have the photos removed and possibly the whole page. Nasty creature I am. :-D

Tec is making a home visit with the OT.s tomorrow so they can asses how he copes and what needs to be done at home. He asked everyone to wish him luck

and your clothes don't fit either... I have about three wardrobes.. for various stages of fatness. Actually I won't part with some gear and yet others, I was more than happy to see go to the op shop... I have four coats that are now retro.. apparently I should sell them on Trademe.

Glad to hear about Tec's unintended arrival. :-( :-S

Thank you both . Rest assured that the babies are NEVER exposed to any smoke from myself nor the other family members .
I will attempt to cut down , the trouble with actually giving up completely ( for me ) is the fear of putting on weight , this is not from any vanity point of view and stems from being told neigh on 25 years ago that I must not put on to much weight as it will add to the stress on my un-healed bones .
I gave up smoking for 4 months a couple of years ago and made a great effort not to " compensate eat " but still pounded it on :-(

The conversations seem perfectly normal to us :-D

It is so cold here that even OH was complaining,so he put the heating on. I hope you are warmer than us Sue

SueMaid Report 18 May 2015 22:25

I'm glad all is well Amanda but I agree with Linda :-|

Linda - you and Tec must have the strangest conversations :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 May 2015 22:17

Tec said that the surgeon is doing a scan on the 27th, so he will be able to tell everyone the sex then. He is hoping for a boy.

I didn't like to tell him I don't think it is that type of scan

I am glad that you are OK Amanda, but you need to give up, you can't have smoke around the babies -lecture over :-

Hello everyone , I thought it was about time I poked my nose back in here .

It is wonderful to hear that Tec is feeling a bit brighter and able to chat a bit and even joke , bless his heart , he really is an inspiration .
Thank you Linda for keeping us all up-dated .

I've had a bit of a health scare recently but I got the " all clear " today , chest x-ray normal and rather astoundingly I have the lungs of a 38 year old !! according to the Nurses computer programme . Not bad for a smoker of 36 years with a troublesome cough . I shall try and cut down the fags .

It rained here for most of the day but the gardens needed it so I'm not complaining .

We have been to the Florida Disney three times, that is brilliant as they have all of the large water parks. I don't like theme parks in this country but the Disney experience is so different, I love it

Ideally we would have waited a couple of years before taking Eve to Florida, but as the conference is in Seattle, it makes more sense to go to the California Disney even though it is nowhere near as good as Florida

I felt that way the first and second time we went to Italy. I just looked at the various sites wide-eyed and incredulous that I was looking at monuments that I had only dreamt of seeing. Not exactly a cool tourist but then the big cameras are such a giveaway :-D

SylviaInCanada Report 18 May 2015 06:17

I must admit ............. it was great fun being adults at Disneyland :-D

We were driving from Texas to here to start OH's new job, and his sister and cousin came from England as their graduation presents to themselves. They had about 2 weeks travelling from NY down to Texas by themselves, and then joined us on the 6 week car camping trip.

The best moment of the trip was driving into Yosemite NP, El Capitan appeared round the corner, and the geography graduate in the back seat gasping "It's look just like the pictures in text book" :-D :-D :-D :-D

Persephone Report 18 May 2015 05:45

Oh dear.. my eldest was deprived as well. I went when I was young and my youngest went when she was about 14. My OH has no desire to go there whatsoever... but I would go again.

SylviaInCanada Report 18 May 2015 00:23

he was much better after his nap :-D

Sue ............. he's 5.

We've been out for the afternoon, and daughter has now bought everything she wanted to buy here because she couldn't get it/them back home.

Linda ............... you will be ready for a holiday by the time you everything booked and sorted out :-)

We never took our daughter to Disneyland, nor to Disneyworld.

We went to Disneyland on our way up here from Texas ....... 4 people in their 20s had a ball :-D

We did make plans on a couple of occasions to take J to Disneyworld, but then there was a major problem down there with gas shortages and rioting, so we were advised not to go. Then something else happened the second time, so ............ she was a deprived child :-)

SueMaid Report 17 May 2015 23:58

Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3
