Well we can't have a party without the star guest and Tec hasn't been been here tonight so far

And I am not allowed alcohol anyway, with one of my tablets, even if I did like it.

You don't have to have alcohol at a party. I don't like the stuff myself, sooner have water or a cuppa.

apparently the show is so popular in Australia that the organisers decided to offer a special spot to an Australian

But i see that the Australian is considered to have a good chance of winning.

It even made one of our national news radio broadcasts this morning ........... and the announcer said that next year's competition is usually held in this year's winner's country ............. but if Australia wins, it will be held in Europe again next year, not Australia.


I guess it is all those Brits that emigrated down under!

It is a glorious day here and after tearing my hair out for a couple of hours trying to deal with my travel insurance renewal, all is now well with the world.

I should have remembered that after I had to make a claim on the last policy after hurting my knee while we were away, that I said I would not deal with them again. I did renew with them because they were a little bit cheaper than the other quote I got. When it came to adding America to the policy, it all went pear shaped, but it ended with me cancelling the renewal because of the way they were messing me around. Luckily it was within the fourteen day cooling off period. I should have my money back within five working days, not that I believe that

I then went to Saga and it all went through without a hitch, so we can go on holiday after all
