Tecwyn Report 31 May 2015 22:57

Linda I that you have mastered the new phone now - should have got Eve to sort it out :-D

Sylvia - No, conspiracy man will not be touching this project. The man I have in mind is far better, if I can get him that is.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 31 May 2015 22:36

Sylvia, you are a spoilsport :-D

Hello tec, sorry, I am playing with my new phone, but I will pay attention now.

I am glad you got out in the garden. I am sure you will be able to get a ramp along the utility room, but who do you want to get to build it for you? not conspiracy theory man I hope

Hi Tec

It sounds as if you had a lovely day with your brother and s-i-l

It's quite common to see ramps from front and back doors here ..... it should be easy for your handyman to build one for you at the back.

Hello,

It seems everyone is still in bed :-D Only 14 posts now :-)

My brother and SIL visited today. That was pleasant and he managed to get me into the garden. There is so much going on out there.

My first priority is getting ramps organised to get me out there on my power wheelchair when it comes.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 30 May 2015 22:51

Sleep well Tec

She is only four and just starting out, she will get there, but at the moment all the tails point the wrong way

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 30 May 2015 22:47

I am also left handed, and there was nothing wrong with my letter formation.

When I was 7 years old I won a National Handwriting competition run by Cadbury's.
A Certificate,
Pair of roller skates
and a selection of chocolate bars. :-D

Well, I must go to bed now,

Goodnight,
Linda, Sylvia, and Sue,

Tec

:-) :-)

He should have a huge model train set running around the house Sylvia. Why don't you suggest it to him :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 30 May 2015 22:25

Linda ............ glad you got home safely after having to run for the train :-)

Tec ............ OH and his friends used to cycle from Chester to Crewe Station to collect the train numbers

Those were the days when 11 and 12 year olds could do that with impunity!!

He now collects train books :-)

LindainHerriotCountry Report 30 May 2015 22:17

She is very keen on spelling out words and writing now. The results are hilarious. She is left handed which doesn't help the letter formation.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 30 May 2015 21:57

Glad that you are back home, though you must be tired.

It is bound to look very bare, and seem very quiet until you get used to it again.

Amazing how much space little ones take up, and noise they make :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 30 May 2015 21:37

I am back home, it looks very bare now that OH has tidied all of Eves toys away, very quiet as well

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 30 May 2015 21:15

Hope that you are now sufficiently recovered now Linda from your marathon in London.
I think that you may sleep tonight.

Sylvia - Lots of schoolboys collected train engine numbers in the 40s, 50s, 60s.
Some I knew went up to the London Main Line stations to collect details of famous trains.
Flying Scotsman being the one to get apparently.
As for me, well I would be found on the muddy riverbank of the Thames recording details of ships coming in and out of the Port of London.

Tomorrow my brother and SIL are coming for the day.

On the train on the way back. I made it exactly two minutes before the train pulled out. Daughter insisted on going for a meal in town before we left and they just had a few bits of shopping to get on the way. I thought I was going to have a heart attack from the running
