You didn't grovel enough Sue :-D

We have boxes for the recycling Amanda, we recycle everything we can but it usually isn't a problem if he forgets to put them out

It can be a problem if he forgets to put the garden waste bin out. Them he fills a big builders bag, the sort the fork lifts lift up and takes it in the car to the recycling centre

Good to see you home safe and sound Linda .

Sue , I hope your son enjoys his holiday .

I'm annoyed with myself , I've forgotten to put out my re-cycling bin for the first time ever and it's fill to the brim :-| I've just filled in an on-line form and hope they will send someone to collect it tomorrow perhaps :-S

I hope Tec is feeling better and the anti-biotics have done their thing .

I like going to Australia and gaining the two hours, and I really fill those extra two hours.. we operate on NZ time over there which means we get up at 8.30am our time but 6.30am theirs and it works well.. but hate the return journey when those two hours disappear and you feel worn out.

Hello everyone ...good news!

Just to let you all know that I have just spoken to Tec and it looks as though the antibiotics are working ...for the first time he is starting to feel so much better..and the good news is that the test results have come back and the infection is not a really nasty one.
He was out In the garden with the chap who is finishing off the ramp and his daughter is there. The weather is lovely and all in all is seems that things are on the up.

The sun is out and about here today as well, after yesterday's stoooopid day of heavy showers with intermittent sunshine.

Yesterday I went out with a friend and one of my honorary grandchildren Xavier, he is as quiet as August is talkative. He is just over a month younger than August. He really doesn't have to say much as his older sister and brother do the talking and answering for him.

Just popping in to say " hello " .

Tec , I hope that your anti biotics do their job ! I'm glad to hear that the ramp into your garden has worked so well :-)

I hope you have a safe journey home Linda , and that you have had a lovely relaxing holiday .

I haven't read back through the thread , so hope that everyone is keeping well .

I've been busy on the allotments and in the garden , today the sun came out :-0

Hello, :-)

Thank you everyone for your concern, and it was lovely to hear you today Sue, and Brenda too, but I missed her call. Will catch up tomorrow Brenda if you look in.

Yes I am having a rough spell, but I'm sure it will pass.
As I told Sue, the nurse will be here in the morning. She was here yesterday (Sunday).
I am half way through the course of anti-biotics now, so in theory things should start to improve.
I will contact the surgeons secretary tomorrow if I'm not happy.
Even then it will take a week to organise an appointment.

My daughter is visiting tomorrow on an overnight stay. Things are easier for her now she has finished work.

My new ramp into the garden out of the kitchen is superb, and better than I'd hoped for.

Anyway, I'm off to bed now. Have a safe pleasant journey home Linda. It was quite warm here today at 19 C.

Goodnight,
Tec :-)
