I had a long chat with Tec on Thurs.I didn't put it on here in case I was taking his news that he wanted to tell you...also I had a busy time lately!

He was very chatty and upbeat....he has at last got rid of his hospital bed and ordered a lovely new bed that raises up so that he can sleep with his head raised.

The infection hadn't quite cleared up ,so he had more antibiotics to make sure.
His daughter will be there at the moment and his new bed being delivered tomorrow,so she is staying over to make it up for him

We were having a laugh when someone came to the door so we left it at that

Oh,,by the way he wants the chap who did the ramp to make him a fishpond !

He is amazing.
I know you are all thinking of him...but he is still very positive

Hope everyone is OK...
I am off to a garden party ...hope it stays dry...this is for the summer solstice...but there is a condition...we all have to do something...as its music and poetry...so guess I'll have to play the piano...

Sue....haven't forgotten you and the day we spent together..which I think of often!

I will ring him again in a couple of days to check his he is doing

It is Father's Day here. I offered to make the bacon sandwiches this morning, but OH turned me down. So Sunday morning service was as normal

The boys were having a sleepover at my daughter's place. One young character of a lad greeted me at the front door in his onesie which was a penguin. The boys ate with us and then went to the lounge and played computer games.

Kayli the dog was not well and SIL arrived back from the vet with her, she had had injections etc and was apparently in better spirits. She is a funny little thing, got very stroppy with the electrician the other day but when we turn up she is excited.

Their little cat does not like visitors at all and she went into hiding.

Will be glad when Tec pops in more so we know he is okay..

Maisie enjoys barking at the bats that fly around.

Have you spoken to Tec lately?

Hello - very chilly here. I'm still sitting in bed because it's too cold to get up.

We've had plenty of rain over the last week but apart from it being miserable we did need it.

We need more rain here, OH was saying the allotment is dry and there isn't much water left in the barrels we collect it in

It rained a little bit while I was delivering Meals on Wheels, but it didn't last long

We have had way too much rain in some parts of NZ.. worst floods in 30 years in some areas.

Periodontist - he is going to have to have that tooth out, it has been slowly suppurating and now we know why he keeps saying about this awful taste in his mouth. I am surprised he has put up with it for so long. I wouldn't.

Evan is 14 today so we is off to Auckland in the rain, he is having his friends around and us.

And if you want to read about this stupid bloke and what he did when his partner left him..

I killed a BIG spider the other evening .............. I got out the electronic bat and zapped it. It went with a satisfyingly long "crack'!

We got rain yesterday :-D

It began about 4 pm and continued through most of the evening, it wasn't the really good downpour that we really need, but it WAS rain! We're in a drought situation through most of the province, and the fire risk is moderate to high all over.

We've had a LOT of forest fires already ...... over 50,000 hectares already burnt, and the $60 million forest fire budget almost spent, with about 4 months still to go
