How disappointing Sylvia - it would've been such fun for us all to go to Cyprus. We will throw a plate or two for you and drink a glass of ouzo - if that's what they drink in Cyprus.

No, I am feeling generous, you can stay in the hotel as well, as long as you pay your own bill of course.

I had better turn in as it is late and I have to pick someone up at 8.30am to drive them to a hospital appointment

Cyprus does look very inviting.. and looks like Linda will be staying in an excellent hotel. Sue and I will probably have to park our tent on the beach somewhere.

That isnt until later on, you have time to come with us next week

but we're going on a train trip :-)

I am sure he will want to try going home again, he doesnt want to go into a home, who does?

Sue and Persie are going to come to Cyprus with me next week, or so they say. Would you like to come as well Sylvia?

I think we all agree that we can't see Tec managing by himself, especially in such an isolated place.

It would be good if he could get into the same place as The Duchess.

That heavy rain is due here this afternoon and into the night ............... "they" are saying it will stall over us for about 12 hours.

I have sent an email to his daughter, passing on our love to her

I can't seem Tec coping either Linda - as you say it would be ideal if they were in the same care home. It's all very sad :-(

Thank you for doing that Sue, contacting her is the only thing that I could think of. I doubt he will be able to cope again. I know he would hate it, but it would be better if went into the same home as the Duchess so at least they could be together again.

We had Mexican food at our daughter's this evening. It was very tasty :-)

I've have messaged Tec's neighbour and she has told me that Tec is back in the local hospital although nothing bad has happened. He is unable to cope at home and his daughter is trying to put together a care package so he can return home. What a worry :-(

We had left over steak and kidney tonight, I cooked up some more carrot and mushrooms and chucked them in and stuck mashed potato on top, bunged it in the oven and ready in no time.

I have been thwarted as well, the sun has gone and it is so dark, I have had to put the lights on. It looks like it is going to pour down again

I have just been revising my plans for dinner so I can make something without having to go out. I need to buy a birthday card to send to my niece, as long as I post it before we go away, it will be early as her actual birthday is the day we come back

We went north today and was a lovely day but think it must have been coming down in stair rods in Huntly because my washing was wetter than when I put it out before we left.

I am sitting at my desk3 playing on the computer, it was quite sunny so I was contemplating a walk into town. Then I wondered what the funny noise was,so looked up and the rain was coming down in stair rods. It was gurgling down the gutters. It stopped just as suddenly and it is sunny again. It is a shame my neighbour had a line full of washing out

Lets hope all is well :-(
