I will be careful believe me.

This afternoon we went next door for mince pies and mulled wine and to give the little boy jis Christmas present

We had no frost here - nice sunny day, but bitterly cold.

My brother was to visit tomorrow, but conditions are so bad where he lives he has postponed until the weekend.

Had a quiet day today,
Cleaned the ashes in the grate, laid a new fire, but didn't light it.
Made a stew in the slow cooker - that was delicious for dinner.
Watched an old film on tv this afternoon.
So that was my exciting day :-D

Linda you must be very careful on the black ice, especially with your wonky knee :-)

I am safely back Sue. it was 2 degrees according to the car thermometer.

The worst thing is that it was sunny. At this time of the year, the sun is so low in the sky that you can't see a thing ahead of you even when you are walking.

Backing the car out of the car parking space was interesting as a large car with blacked out windows was next to me, so I couldn't see anything in that direction. The sun was straight behind me,so I couldn't see a thing there. I just inched out very slowly hoping the cars cruising round looking for spaces would stop and let me out

Well that is another sleep over and done with.

It is a hard white frost outside, all very picturesque, unfortunately I have to go out soon

Oh dear Linda - at least they weren't hurt. I can imagine there are a few accidents on your road. We always drove very carefully around the bend at especially at the intersection.

OH is watching football,so I am going to bed early. We didn't wake up until 9.30 this morning. Going away is very tiring you know

It's a breezy sunny day - a good day for sheets and towels :-)

The bird bath is frozen here as well, the road outside was very icy. I went to the supermarket and drove very slowly because I could see the ice on the road. When I came back OH was outside talking to three young girls standing beside their car which had been pushed off the road in a very odd position. They had taken the corner too fast and hit the deep kerb outside our house. One of the wheels was very badly damaged. They were phoning for help.

we have had several cars ending up on our drive over the years as they fail to take the corner. One day one of them will hit the garage, although now we have put a new fence in they will take that out first.

The children will soon polish off the biscuits Sue :-D

We had a frost this morning - that's not allowed.

The bird's water was frozen too.

I shall save my chocolate till Easter :-D

It will be minus three tonight,so nice and balmy

She forgot where the chocolate is hidden :-D

We have loads of biscuits too :-0
