I have to admit that I have never made the bed standing on one leg - I must try it. It sounds interesting :-D

We are going to see my sister tomorrow, my niece and her daughter will be there as well. The baby is thirteen months now and has just started walking, so she should be fun.

I am signing off now, so sleep well Tec, enjoy your day Sue

Sorry Linda, it was you enquiring about the nurse, not Sue.

I do try to keep up :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Jan 2015 22:19

Well, she's not coming to see Archie Sue, unless he gets woodworm :-D

Hello Linda,

So there may be tears when you leave in the morning - but Eve knows that you will be back soon.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Jan 2015 22:10

Not much - it was a dreary dull day.

I did some washing, then stripped the bed, so more washing.

Have you ever tried to make the bed on one leg :-D it's interesting.

The coal man filled the bunker..........

So that was my exciting day.

Tomorrow the nurse is calling to see to my leg.

Hello Linda. Eve must miss you very much when you leave. Aiden always tells us he wishes we could stay and it makes it harder to leave :-(

What did you get up to today?

I am glad that the wanderers have returned safely Sue

I am sure Beronas daughter will be pleased to see the tribute thread

Eve woke up at 7.10 this morning which wasn't bad She helped to take the tree down this morning and then I played make believe princess games until lunchtime. This afternoon we took them to the park, partly to get Eve out and to get Esme to have a sleep in her pushchair.

We will leave before 8.30 am tomorrow, so we don't have to use a parking permit. Esme will already have gone to nursery and Eve leaves for school around then. When I did her bedtime story tonight she told me she didn't want me to go and she wanted me to take her to school tomorrow

I'm sure that Berona's daughter will be comforted to see high highly her mother was thought of on here.

Good that the children were included in the activities of the Christian group. Sounds like they had a great time.
I expect the men need a rest now :-D

It wasn't just me she contacted Tec. It is a message page on FBook as Berona was involved with the reading group too.

Her daughter said she would love to see the messages left for Berona on here so I have printed them off and will send them to her. It will be heartening for the family to know how well she was thought of.

The wanderers returned yesterday afternoon. They had a great time although there was a storm on Sunday. All part of the excitement. Apparently there was a Christian camp there and they had various activities for the children in their group. Any other children were welcome so off went our three to make face masks etc.

Hello Sue,

It was very nice of Berona's daughter to contact you.
I know that Berona took an interest in our lives, as her friends, and as such I can understand that she would tell her daughter about aspects of her friends lives.

It is hard to know that she has really gone.

Hello everyone :-)

Nice to see you Huia - hope you can get your internet sorted out soon.

There was a lovely message from Berona's daughter thanking everyone again for their well wishes. She said that her mother often spoke about her friends and would often tell her about what was happening in our lives. She said Berona very much valued our friendship. Bless you Berona.

Hello :-)

It could well be Huia because all my problems with my internet cutting out started about the same time as I got a new set of cordless phones for the house. I thought the router was faulty,so got a new one. That made no difference at all. I checked all sorts with my ISP usually in calls to India, but nothing made any difference.
One thing I read was that some electronic equipment such as cordless phones can be on the same frequency as your router,so cause problems
Over Christmas I bought a new router which is dual band and since then, my internet hasn't cut out once

The experts could find nothing wrong with my computer :-( and suggested it might be with my provider. It has just occurred to me a short time ago that the problems probably started about the time I had the St John's alarm fitted. Anyway I will phone the provider on Wed (going out tomorrow) and see what they think and if it can be cured apart from unplugging the alarm, which I wont do. :-0

Tecwyn Report 4 Jan 2015 23:03

Maybe they thought the storm was fun and will no doubt tell you all about it :-D

Enjoy your day Sue and the homecoming.

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3

My daughter went down on Saturday and stayed overnight. She said that are all are having fun. Drew doesnt want to leave the pool apparently. I don't know how they weathered the storm as they don't have mobile phone reception.

I must be off Tec. I need to get jobs done.

Goodnight - sleep well <3
