I'm feeling much happier with this new computer now that I've sorted out an e-mail account that works . I still don't understand why I couldn't link my old e-mail into the new one but it doesn't matter to much as I can still check the old messages on my talktalk account .

Tec , I'm pleased to know the shop assistant came to your rescue . I hope you can stay indoors for the next few days , the forecast sounds wild :-0
Linda I hope you are getting a chance to put your feet up and have a bit of down time .

I think the world was a happier, more carefree place in those days,

Perhaps every generation thinks that way of their own youth.

Some of the young girl puppies chased me - some got older and still chased me.

When I was first let loose on the big wide world I was like a puppy let out for the first time. :-D

Yes I will phone - if she anywhere near the office they will put her on the phone.

My new odd job man called today.

He is going to replace my outside light by the front door.

replace the hose from the tumble dryer to the vent, because it's split.

and he replaced a light bulb in the dining room :-D

Yes I can always get things brought down from the shop - that lady pops in to see Sue next door most days.

I was planning to see the Duchess tomorrow, but dare not take this into the home - it would see most of them off I'm sure.

I always wanted to cross Canada on the Canadian Pacific Railway. Would still do it if it were possible.

I did travel from Adelaide to Melbourne once, in pursuit of a young lady - but that's another story.

I was young and foolish.......... :-D

There is a severe weather warning for the next couple of days, so I hope you aren't thinking about going out anymore. If you need anything, I am sure your friend who owns the shop will bring it down for you
