Yes it is interesting in that respect.

I know that huge changes have been made to my mum's old place, but can't bring myself to look. :-(

It is very interesting though and good for the family history to be able to see the houses

I have just looked at my parents house, it has two views, one in July 2009 and one this year. In the first view, the windows are open,so my mum must have been in as she didn't die until the Sept of that year. The new people have really done it up

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 20:24

I saw them coming once and ran indoors :-D

I don't entirely agree with it - seems to smack a bit like Big Brother to me :-0

I am just playing with street view on google maps, I hadn't realised that when you are in street view, you can see all the pictures of the house which they have taken, there are three vies of my house over the years

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 19:56

What a shame - I would have loved to have seen Sue with her head sticking out of a tent on her UK Tour :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 19:52

The tent was in the back garden, out of sight

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 19:49

What a pity Sue wasn't googled in the tent :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 19:47

Ooh, I forgot to tell Sue. I looked at the street view for google maps for my house to see if it had been updated. The date on it is July 2011 and on the drive tucked behind the hedge is the hire car you had. Also if you go round the corner, you can see the back of the house and you have both of the bedroom windows open. So your first visit is recorded for posterity :-D

I hate duvet covers - evil things :-|

Much rather have a good old fashioned feather eiderdown that we had when the world was sane

Duvet = Another foreign invention - like metric :-|

The branch just landed under the tree - glad it didn't hit the car.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 19:37

I never have trouble with duvet covers, it must be a man thing :-D

I hope your tree branch isn't across the path or you will never get out

Hello Linda,

It was a nice sunny day here, very cold, and very windy.
Not a day for me to go out even if I wanted to. I seem to have no resistance to the wind, it just blows me over.
A big branch has been ripped off the tree in the front garden.

A did very little today. My cold is a little better, but I still feel like a wet weekend.
Fought with a stupid duvet cover - I beat it into submission in the end :-D

The nurse turned up - the ulcer is about the same, no worse thank goodness, still painful.
It will only allow me to sleep in one position in bed. If I move or try to turn over it complains bitterly. :-(
I had hoped I was over all that - oh well.
Keep calm, and carry on :-D

I hope you have been safely tethered down today Tec

It was very windy overnight, I woke up a few times because of the noise outside.

We walked into the market square this morning, the wind was gusting behind us an kept pushing me forwards, quite some feat given my weight. Coming back, we were walking into it, which was hard.

I did some housework and lots of general tidying up this afternoon, I just need to clean the inside of the windows tomorrow then I will be happy

I have just finished writing all of the birthdays, committee meetings, cinema duties, Meals on wheels etc onto a very nice calendar, It is a bit odd though having strange names for the months :-D

It is nice to be settled down with the curtains drawn and the heating on
