Despite popular opinion - I am not completely deranged - yet. :-D

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 21:34

You could read him stories, or get some story tapes and listen to them together, or listen to the afternoon play on the radio

There is that, and he knows I'm not busy all the time.

Really he just likes company, Sue sends him here if she's going shopping or something.

and my lounge and dining room are carpeted, whereas everywhere in his house is laminate flooring - he's not silly :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 21:25

He must know you keep it nice and warm

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 21:24

Yes we make a perfect pair, both clapped out old bangers. :-D

He comes in every morning for his biscuit, but often comes back in the afternoon and curls up and goes to sleep wherever I am.

Sue has to come for her dog back :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 21:21

Ah so two old blokes living next to each other :-D

Sue has decided, wisely, that Milo is now too old to be stressed with another dog about the place, especially a young one.

He did get stressed with that last dog - she just wouldn't leave him alone.

That's the situation at the moment anyway.

Is Milo on his own, or are there any others yet?

Yes they have - she has gone to a family in North Wales where there are older children, and another dog.
She needed an active family. She was too lively for a middle aged couple.

Lovely little dog, but far too busy for me, even if I could have one.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 21:08

Have they found a new home for the dog which came back?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 21:07

I love to watch the sheep outwit a sheepdog :-D

Milo is very rude about sheep, so I try not to mention them in front of him :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 21:03

That goes without saying :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 21:01

I've had some very intelligent conversations with sheep - the intelligence was all on their side of course :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 20:59

I didn't know the sheep talk

I don't know about the top of the Dales, but you might struggle a bit here :-D

especially in the winter when they come down from the hills :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Jan 2015 20:46

Well the dialect at the top of the dales is strange, but even so :-|

Tecwyn Report 10 Jan 2015 20:41

Thank you - that is very kind, would love some :-)

Those strange named months on your calendar you have to learn until you are fluent.

You never know when you might need them in Yorkshire :-D :-D :-D
