It depends if you are in Devon or Cornwall

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 21:58

We had the dilemma of course, cream or jam first

Those scones look rather nice.

when one holds a teacup like that one has to wave a pinky

it's called social etiquette

I got that reply tonight thanks Tec, I sent a photo of OH's posh tea as I put it on FB for Sue

Good job you told him to stop Sue before he started drilling holes in the furniture

Tecwyn

OH received a gift voucher for Christmas and has just bought a new cordless drill. His old one died not long ago. He didn't have anything to drill so he just kept looking at it and turning it on and off until I told him to stop it :-D

I was looking at Screwfix online today. I want a chop saw. They used to send me their catalogue but stopped sending it.

Hello everyone :-)

Happy Birthday to your OH Linda - please pass on our best wishes. Mmmm.....Betty's in Harrogate :-D

Very hot day yesterday. We didn't stay at the markets long as it was too hot to walk around. We went for coffee instead. Hopefully it will be a little cooler today.

It was good that you were able to see the Duchess today, Tec.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 21:25

Are you sure it isn't you who is confused tec :-D :-D

It has been bitterly cold and very icy here

It is OH's birthday so we went to Betty's in Harrogate for posh afternoon tea. We were given the vouchers as a Christmas present so it seemed a good time to use them

Hello, :-)

Persie I hope that you have a dry sunny day today.

It has been a dry sunny day here, and the wind had dropped, although it is bitterly cold.

After the nurse called this morning I went to visit the Duchess. She was fine, but still very tired. I think it's the medication that she is on causing the tiredness.
We had some very interesting conversations, that do rather scramble my brain, but it's best to just go along with it.

and it did get cooler after a hot start and when we went for a walk in the middle of the day it started to rain just a few drops but got a bit more when we got to main street. On the way back it started to rain again and was more of a shower as we were rounding the last couple of corners to home. Rained all afternoon after that and then this evening at about 6.30pm the sun came out to have the last word.

and now back to doing a friend's family tree..
