I can't bear to watch snooker, or darts, or golf :-0 :-0

Australia beat us at cricket yesterday :-(

I don't blame him Sue,
Though we don't get the snowfalls we did when I was young.
I loved to watch it crashing down off roof's a foot deep, and coming down in huge sheets with a roar. :-D

I am being very kind to OH tonight. He watched the snooker and now is watching the football, all without a murmur from me. Good job he only has one birthday a year :-D

OH would never visit in winter - not for a holiday anyway.

Snow looks very pretty, so long as you don't have to go out in it.

The sheep farmers in Snowdonia lost thousands of sheep last winter in deep snow that had drifted in high winds smothering them.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 22:33

You will just have to visit us in the winter Sue

I just can't imagine snow - it's warm here already :-0

I don't remember snow. My mother has a photo of me all bundled up in coat, gloves and hat standing in my grandfather's garden and it is snowing.

It's OK, I can curdle milk with just one glance

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:28

Dolthingy had snow, but we didn't

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:27

I didn't know that you had a cow - how exciting,

but it will take you hours to churn into cream :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 22:27

We passed lots of cars with snow on them this afternoon, probably from up in the dales

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:25

Oh no, they forecast snow for us tomorrow.

As I drove round the bay coming home I could see the summit of Snowdon in the distance, covered in snow and looking fabulous in the afternoon sunlight.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 22:24

I will just go and milk the cow

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:19

Sounds delicious :-D

I've got scones, and blackcurrent jam from Yorkshire, but no cream unfortunately

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 22:17

It has to be jam first because the cream is too thick to spread

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:09

Very quaint :-D

but you are in Yorkshire, so would be expected to do the correct way :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Jan 2015 22:08

Devonshire tea is cream first, Cornish is jam first

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:06

Thank you Sue,

That Swiss Finishing School Linda went to was a complete waste of money :-|

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 17 Jan 2015 22:04

Jam first :-0

Tecwyn Report 17 Jan 2015 22:03

It doesn't matter if you are in Swaziland - you are British, and that's how the British do things :-( :-D
