It is bitterly cold here too.

I went to the village shop this afternoon - didn't see another soul, except the lady in the shop. She said I was the first person to come in this afternoon.

The snow is just on the gardens now. I went into the market place this afternoon and the pavements were still icy in some places.

It is dreadfully cold tonight

I could have lent them a shilling.

Have you still got snow?

everywhere around us has snow, but we haven't :-D

They probably just forgot to feed the meter

It would appear so :-)

maybe the frost got onto the system :-D

Hello Jem. It is cold here in Yorkshire, we have a good covering of snow

The down under people will all be on the beach lazing in the sun and firing up the berbies to toss a shrimp on - at least I think that is what they do :-D

It's very bright and sunny here in South West Wales today, but very cold.
It was MINUS 3 in the car, when I was on the school run this morning, despite the engine having been running for about 20 minutes by the time I looked ! :-0 :-0

I agree with you Sue, I wouldn't want to be around to see the aftermath.

I think that you are much safer down there away from the flashpoints of Europe.

We had beds in our house :-D

We didn't have one, and it wasn't a raid, just a rocket that fell out of the sky.

My mother had a metal cage in the front room that we climbed in at night to sleep
