I'm hoping so Tec :-) not to say I don't feel " in tune " with the others really , I'm such a big kid at heart , I love to see the world through their eyes :-)

It will be nice for you to have some Aquarian company Amanda - at least you will be in tune with them :-D

Amanda2003 Report 20 Jan 2015 23:16

I've heard the word " nithering " Linda , I believe it crops up in " The Secret Garden "

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 20 Jan 2015 23:15

I'm one also Tec :-D but not left handed . I don't have any Aquarian Grand children in my collection ..... lol having said that Megs OH has a son from a previous relationship , he will be ten in February and shares his birthday with me ! There is some spectulation that if the twins are born by c section then it may well be on my birthday ( unless it turns into an emergency one ) .

No Linda - never heard of it :-D

but I've led a sheltered life

Don't you use nithered to mean feeling very cold Tec

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 20 Jan 2015 23:11

I'm an Aquarian Amanda - and left handed. The best people are you know :-D

Hello Sue :-) yes , identical boys , they are shareing the placenta but are in different sacks . Did your daughter go full term when she had her twins ?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 20 Jan 2015 23:09

It's good that Poppy-Rose is doing well and smiling at the world.

I don't understand all that technical baby birth talk.

"nitheringly" still none the wiser :-D

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 20 Jan 2015 23:09

Linda , I suspect you are right , poor Meg looks so pained when they start up kicking and squirming , their heads are right under her rib cage :-0

Lovely to hear Poppy is doing well - she is gorgeous. Poor Megan must be feeling like an elephant by now. Boys!! How lovely. Are they identical?

Hello Linda , I though Witheringly cold sounded apt for your Yorkshire setting :-)
It is difficult to say a due time for the twins , I don't think they will let her go beyond 37 weeks , I'm hoping they pop out ( one way or the other ) before 18th Feb , then they will be Aquarians :-D

Hello Sylvia , I'm pleased to know you have also read the Tolkien books :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 20 Jan 2015 23:06

I don't suppose they will have much room to turn now Amanda

I have altered it, I gave up trying to get the predictive text to let me put nitheriingly

Hello Tec , I'm glad to know you have escaped the snow , so far :-)

Poppy-Rose is doing very well thank you , I got my first proper smile from her yesterday :-) she is only a month old but has been smiling at people for a week or so ! I must confess it bought a little tear of happiness to my eye , she is very sweet .

I went to the hospital with daughter Meg today ( anti-natal ) appointment , she only has another few weeks to go , being 33 weeks along now . Poor dear is SO big , I don't know how she manages to move about at all ! All is well but the last scan ( Friday last ) the boys where both heads up , if twin one doesn't go head down very soon then it will be a c section :-(

Hi everyone

yes, she's a very good friend :-)

OH gave me a boxed set of the Lord of the Rings, including Silmarillon, about 1975 .................... it took me years before I even ventured to try reading them, but I did read all of them eventually.

Sue ............. sorry to hear that you had to call off your dolphin cruise.

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday as we came back on the ferry, and we saw several seals, but no dolphins. On one ferry ride last year, we had a pack of them diving around the bow of the ferry :-)

When are the twins due Amanda?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 20 Jan 2015 22:57

Hello Amanda,

It is witheringly cold here tonight, we took the car to the cinema instead of walking,it said it was one degree on the way back. There is just some snow on the garden, but the roads are clear. We went up on the top of the moors this afternoon and there is still a lot of snow up there

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 20 Jan 2015 22:57

My most dangerous exploit these days is riding a mobility scooter :-D

Why Sue? well when you're young you tend to be fearless, and stupid.

Hello Amanda,
We haven't had any snow, because we are so close to the sea, but only ten miles away they've had lots. It is snowing heavily in East Wales and Shropshire this evening.

It is bitterly cold though. I hope you are keeping warm.
How is little Poppy Rose doing?
