Definitely not :-0 Having cleared out a lot I don't intend filling the garden shed with more......unless I find something special of course. Just looking around the new shops and seeing what there is. I find these days that there isn't a lot I want or need.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Jan 2015 21:57

So what are you going to buy, not more garden pots I hope :-)

SueMaid Report 22 Jan 2015 21:54

OH is bus driving today Linda :-D I have my own money to spend as I have sold quite a few bits and pieces on FB. It's like pocket money day when I was a kid :-D

Don't they have a husbands play room in the new shopping centre Sue, so you can leave him while you look after his credit card

Good Morning Sue,

I hope you find the new shopping complex exciting, and have lots of money in your purse :-D

Hello Sue, shopping therapy sounds good.

I don't think the Body Shop is quite what you imagine it to be Tec :-D

SueMaid Report 22 Jan 2015 21:38

Hello everyone....and Linda :-D

Can someone tell Linda that it is silly to do exercises that may cause more problems.

I have the day to myself so I'm going into town for a look around some new shops. We have a huge new shopping complex which we have avoided over the Christmas period but I have deemed it safe to go. Hopefully I will be meeting a friend for coffee.

I have another appointment in a couple of weeks,so I will say what they say then. There was only a slight difference in the movement in my knees anyway. The bad one doesn't bend quite as much as the other one, but there isn't much in it, so I don't think they can do much for me. I am doing my own version of the exercises which are keeping it mobile without hopefully doing anymore damage

I don't know if they are still around, but there used to be places called "The Body Shop"

Maybe we could all do with a visit there :-D

Linda ..................

I'm using as a time to catch up on my reading :-)

it is silly to do more damage ..........

can you go back to the physio and check the exercises???

Maybe there are some easier ones you could that wouldn't hurt the knee???

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Jan 2015 20:10

You need a tablet Sylvia (ipad or android style) so you can talk to us while reclining on your bed. I often use mine during the day, late at night or early morning when I dont want to bother with the large laptop.

I have decided to give up on the physio until after I have my scan and know what the problem actually is. At the moment I think I am only doing more damage which is silly

sorry to hear that you did not sleep well yet again xxx

Hi everyone

Linda ....................

that is one big saving grace :-D :-D :-D

She'll also have to sort out what she wants and doesn't want from here ..................... and then there's her in-laws things :-)

I think our s-i-l might be in for an even bigger shock :-D :-D :-D

oh ................... and our friend has decided to keep 2 or 3 things that daughter had asked for "for a little while" :-D

sorry to hear that your knee is still hurting .............. you're right, it shouldn't be hurting and swelling like that after doing the exercises.

My left leg is still "off" ........................ so I'm on rest orders ......... we do know that works, and I have several unread books for when I lie on the bed with a heat pad under my leg and the leg supported on pillows :-D

that's why you'll find me on here for only short spells, and with long absences in between!

you mean .................. we have to pass messages between you two AGAIN :-| :-|

Before she gets here, I can tell you Sue isn't speaking to me :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Jan 2015 16:16

Wake up Tec, I can just see you dozing off my the fire :-D

I did some housework, then remembered that I had forgotten to do something when I went out this morning, so I have just been for another walk. It is getting very chilly out there, so I am pleased to be back in

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Jan 2015 13:21

Oh dear Tec, I am sorry that you didn't get any sleep again. I had a bad night again, my knee was hurting, so kept waking me up. I did the Physio excel isles yesterday, but it is silly because they make my knee hurt and it I has more fluid on it. I am going to stop the physio until after I have my MRI scan next week

I can understand if the exercises made the muscles ache a bit when they were being stretched, butI think they are doing more damage which is silly

Welcome to the thread Geordy - come back and chat to us.

Beautiful sunny day here, but freezing cold.

Another sleepless night. Convinced the bed is in the wrong position.
I remember many years ago we bought a house on a very steep hill.
After three weeks of not sleeping well I realised that where the bed was positioned I was in effect sleeping with my head downhill. Although obviously the floor was level.
Moved the bed to the opposite wall, and slept like a baby thereafter.
:-D

Welcome to the thread Geordy

I will send a message to tell him how to get back to the end

It does sound like your daughter is in for a shock Sylvia, but as it will all be at her house, there is no danger of it ending up in your basement, so that is one good thing about being at the other end of the country
