I do have other slippers Linda :-| I have a very nice pair of summer slippers with the name of a Bali hotel...and before you say anything they are actually there for the guests to take. Anyway I left my slippers at your house because it means I intend returning so beware :-D

My mother died when I was 21 .............. she was only 57

Berona would have loved that. She was very proud of her grandchildren, especially when her grandson took over her car and looked after it so well although it was old, but with little mileage.

I'm sure you do Linda - it has been awhile but there is no time limit on missing someone when they are gone.

Berona's daughter said that they had just bought their daughter a little car has she has now got her license. She said she and her daughter were feeling sad at not being able to drive over to show Berona the car and take her for a drive.

It is good that you have become friends with Berona's daughter.
I am sure that she misses her mum so much. It was cruel the way she was taken so suddenly without a chance to say goodbye.

Well,we asked for cooler weather and we've got it. Considering it's the middle of summer it's positively arctic at the moment. Oh well...we're never happy. I can hardly complain considering the weather you are having.

I have become friends with Berona's daughter on FaceBook. We had a lovely "chat" last night. She is missing her mum very much. I just wanted to hug her.

I know, I can't shout, but you know situations creep up on you slowly, and you just accept it and get on with it.
You can't see what others see from afar.

Things came to a head for me when I was taken away, and events taken out of my hands.
Were it not for that, I don't know how long I would have carried on just coping.
